When I received my pressure cooker and seen all of the things that this one pot can do I was amazed but skeptic. After just one use I am very impressed. I made pulled pork for my sons get together and it was so juicy and tender. Needles to say there was none left. It cooked in about a 3rd of the time it would have taken me in a crockpot. I love this cooker, it is now my go to for quick and easy meals. It comes with a rack, cookbook, measuring cup for rice, and spoons for serving. Everything that I have cooked in my cooker has came out perfect. This cooker is perfect for families that are on the go but want to feed their families a home cooked meal without spending all day in the kitchen. I plan on buying another one to put in our camper so I can spend more time with my family and not in the kitchen.

I got this to test out from spectrum.. and I am SO glad I did! It can cook beans and rice in almost one third of the time it takes to cook them other ways! We cook a lot of beans and rice, and this cooker has been SUCH a lifesaver for us! It has 11 functions so you can make almost anything in it. It is also nonstick so there is no issue getting the food out. And, it is easy to clean! I RECOMMEND THIS TO EVERYONE!

I love this product. I wasn’t sure what I could do with it until I gave it a shot. It’s like crock pot delicious food in a fraction of a time. It seemed a little confusing at first use, but after that first time I figured it all out. So easy to use and so much things I can do with it. Desserts to browning meat and even cooking rice. It’s like a do all pot. It has so many features. It browns meat, cooks rice, frys chicken, and has a high/low crock pot feature when you want to cook food while gone all day. After food is cooked just turn the steamer seal and wait till all the steam releases and done. So easy. I highly recommend this product. I ditched my crock pot and rice cooker because I have one pot that does it ALL!!!!!. IT’S worth every penny. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!

i love the pressure cooker and slow-cooker in one. i got my old slow-cooker recipe out and start cooking them again. i have 4 old pressure cooker.i love the digital black and decker. it cooks everything faster them the old one.it digital. just set and go do what every and the timer goes off and it done. the pressure let out it’s self. easy to clean. can use my old recipe for pressure cooker.it so ease to because it digtial it saves space when storing

I received this a few weeks ago and was a little overwhelmed on how to use it. Thankfully, the directions were really clear. I like that it came with a recipe book. However, I wish there were more recipes in it. The first dish I made was pulled pork sandwiches. I was amazed at how fast the meat cooked and how wonderful and tender it tasted. It was easy to clean up afterwards. This product is well made and I look forward to using it for many more weeknight dinners for my family. I definitely recommend this pressure cooker. I bought this Pressure Cooker today to replace a failed 10/5/14 other brand. I’m addicted to the quality of food and the way it tastes. But I also know that 6 quarts is 24 cups, and the inner bowl isn’t close to 24 cups more like 10 cups. Please explain????? 24 cups = a 5 star rating

As a new user this large cooker looks intimidating. Turns out, you can brown and cook all in one unit! Less pans to wash! It is easy to use. Just attach the lid, set the timer and you are cooking. It comes to temperature, cooks, and reduces pressure all with one setting. And the time it saves. I made the pictured pork roast all within 2 hours. With minimal seasoning it came out juicy, flavorful and oh so tender. Pressure cooking everyone can do.

I received this pressure cooker in exchange for my honest review about 4 weeks ago. I deliberately waited a few weeks to write this review because I wanted to make sure that I’ve had the opportunity to try out different functions on this pressure cooker and take it for a serious test drive. It is made of stainless steel on the outside, the inner cooking pot however is a nonstick coating, which has the upside of the cooked foods not sticking but is not as durable as a stainless steel inner pot. I don’t know at this point how long the nonstick coating will last, even with being handled carefully. I also don’t know if replacement inner pots are available for purchase or if a stainless steel inner pot is available for purchase. I’ve experienced that this pressure cooker is very user friendly and even inexperienced users don’t have to be afraid to use a pressure cooker. The lid locks easily and the manual is very thorough and explains the cooking procedure very well. I have made several dishes in this machine every week and am VERY pleased with its performance so far. I have made the perfect cheesecake in it, which I never thought possible at all! I’ve made many cheesecakes in my life but never as perfect as the one this pressure cooker produced. I’ve made the most tender, fall apart chuck roast for french dip sandwiches, a perfect mexican barbacoa beef. I’ve even made an all in one beef stroganoff, where the whole meal, including the pasta is cooked in the pressure cooker and it was glorious! A whole chicken cooks in 25 minutes, beens from dry to the dinner tabel in about an hour, bone broth in 2-3 hours. It also produces the perfectly cooked hard boiled eggs without cracking the shell and super easy peeling in 2 minutes on high pressure. Which brings me to the main reason why I love this pressure cooker! The time saving aspect. I cooks the foods I prepare in about 1/3 of the conventional cooking time and it doesn’t take up my time standing in front of the stove watching and stirring. It is set it and forget it. Perfect example for that is the rice pudding I made. Cooked in 3 minutes on high pressure and done. No more constant stirring for 45 minutes. Such a time saver! Perfect for the working parent. It also offers a slow cook function that replaces the slow cooker and the rice cooker function which replaces the rice cooker, thus freeing up plenty of counter space! It also reduces the amount of dishes I have to wash as I can just make a lot of dishes in just one pot.

I am truly over the moon with with my new Black and Decker pressure cooker. I really have no idea how i managed before this. I have cooked everything in this now, beans and rice turn out perfect. I like to throw in chicken or beef with taco seasonings and let pressure cook for a few minutes and then it easily forks apart for delicious tacos or fajitas! The thing i really love the most is how i can throw in a roast, chicken, corned beef, you name it! In less than an hour i have delicious roasted meat that i did not have to cook in the oven all day or fuss with at all. After letting cool down i like to put in some vegetables and put it on steam for just a couple minutes for my complete meal. Using my pressure cooker is really simple and quick. I had never used a pressure cooker before this but now that i do i really can not imagine cooking without it. The one thing i think is really great for families is the amount of time you save. I very much recommend Black and Decker, 6 quart pressure cooker to anyone that loves delicious home cooked meals in under an hour.

I was excited to use a pressure cooker. The instructions on how to use it were easy to read and the recipe booklet that came with it gave me great ideas how to use it. I first made mushroom risoto in it and loved that it only took 20 minutes. Then I made beans from dried beans and it took less than a hour to cook. It usually takes 2 hours on the stove and 6 hours in the slow cooker. I will be using the pressure cooker more often. The lid was easy to screw on and off. It was also easy to release the steam, just use a pot holder or a silicone glove as the steam is hot. The control buttons are easy to use and I like that you can set a timmer for how long you want the food to cook. The unit turns off when them timer is done and beeps so you can either quick release the steam or let it release naturally(for allowing the food to cook longer). The recipe booklet and instructions tell you what buttons and time to put it. You can also saute in the pan so it is a one cook pot. When I made the mushroom risoto, I first sauted onions and mushrooms in the pan with the timer set for 5 minutes. The unit turned off then I added the water and rice and pressed the rice button and timer to cook for 20 minutes. The risoto came out creamy.Cleaning the unit is easy as the pan comes out and rinses well in warm soapy water.

This is the first pressure cooker that I have ever used. I was a little intimidated by the thought of using it at first; I thought it would be something that was overly complicated or hard to learn to use. I was so wrong! I love this pressure cooker! It was super quick and easy to learn. You just push a few buttons and you’re cooking. I used it twice the first week that I had it. The first time I made a pot roast. It only took about an hour and a half from prep to serving. After the pressure built up it cooked for half an hour, then I did a natural steam release, added carrots, pressurized again and cooked for another 10 minutes with another natural steam release. The meat came out very tender, falling apart as I scooped it out of the bowl. The second use was for barbecued pulled pork. This took about 2 hours from prep to serve. Again, the meat was perfectly tender and very flavorful. I love that it’s pretty much one pot cooking. You can brown your meat in the pot, then cook in the same pot. You can also use it as a slow cooker if needed. You can really just set it and forget it. And I did forget it, lol, both times, so I’m super happy that it automatically goes to the “keep warm” feature after a natural steam release. The bowl is non-stick. It’s very easy to clean. It comes with a trivet, 2 spoons and a small cup for measuring water.I want to cook with it all the time now, I’m scouring the internet for interesting recipes. I’m going to try rice and pasta dishes soon and I just read today that you can make yogurt and cheesecake in it as well. Definitely grab one of these if you have been thinking about trying out a pressure cooker, you will love it!

At first just looking at the pressure cooker I was intimidated with all the bottoms on it. After about 20 minutes of looking it over I was firmly confident in my ability to use it. It works super fast. I was able to cook a roast in 20 minutes. This will definitely save me time in the kitchen. It is my new favorite cooking instrument. The design of it is modern and nice looking and also fits well into my kitchen design. I would recommend this product to anyone whether your new in the kitchen or a seasomeds pro you must have this pressures cooker. It is made well and is high quality.
