I’ve been using this for various meals for the past week or so, and it is great. The cooking times stated are a little misleading because they don’t take into account the 10-15 minutes it takes to get up to pressure. Once it’s up to pressure, THEN the timer starts and you get the advertised cook time. Other than that, it’s great. Easy to clean, doesn’t take up a lot of counter space, less than a 6-qt crock pot actually. My only real gripe with it is I wish I could buy extra pieces for it. Ideally, I would want 2 or 3 extra cooking pots. If I could buy these separately, that would be amazing.

At first, I was a little scared to use the product with all of the different buttons and options it has to offer, but after reading the manual, I felt comfortable enough to make the Macaroni and Cheese Recipe that is in the Recipe Book that comes with the Pressure Cooker. My whole family LOVED it. In the same amount of time it would take me to make the processed boxed Mac & Cheese, I made Mac & Cheese that had REAL cheese, and it tasted great! Since I received the appliance, I have also used it to make soup, and used it as a slow cooker to make my favorite Turkey Chili. Both turned out great too.The Pressure Cooker is REALLY easy to clean. All you have to do is take out the inner pot and wash it. The inner pot is dishwasher safe, so you can wash it that way as well. I have now moved my old slow cooker and my rice cooker down into the basement, and probably will no longer use them, because this Pressure Cooker does it all. (Can you tell I am impressed?)

I have never owned a pressure cooker but with this opportunity, it was quite an adventure. This pressure cooker comes with the setup manual as well as a recipe manual which i think is a plus. The step up is easy and straight forward as indicated in the manual. I am a good cook but with the pressure cooker ,i am the best. Not only does the food taste perfect, the warm effect is exceptional. I used the steaming, beans amongst other functions and i loved it. For the timing in the manual, say for beans, it had 25- 30mins, my first try with 20mins, it was overcooked. I tried it again on 15mins and it was perfect. Apart from the timing issues, its a must have kitchen item and you may want to slash the timing to half. The good thing is that if you feel its still not cooked, you can add more time. Its easy to use and clean up afterwards.

I’ve had other pressure cookers that didn’t feel as well put together as this one from Black and Decker. The control panel is clear and easy to see. Super easy to understand the settings and options available. It came to temp and started pressure faster than any other pressure cooker I’ve owned. The lid was easy to set and sealed fast.

I received this product about three weeks ago and have used it twice. I have used the pressure cooker for bourbon chicken and it turned out great, ready in 30 minutes. I used the slow cooker for my mongolian beef, ready in 4 hours. The instructions were real easy to read and understand. Love it!

I am in love with this product. It has cut my cooking time in half. Now I have more time to spend doing the things I love. When you can cook a frozen roast in under an hour then you are saving a ton of time. I have cooked beans, roast, and ribs and they have all tasted amazing. The meat comes out tender every time. Very convenient if you have last minute guest coming over and you need to fix a quick meal. The browning feature is one of my favorites.
