I’ve had the drill for quite a while and this is the first time I have had to replace the battery. I use it a lot. I took the old battery to Home Depot to show them what I needed. The salesman who waited on me was very helpful. Home Depot did not have the battery I needed, but the salesman ordered a replacement for me and it arrived in a short time to my home.I shop at Home Depot for all my garden and home repair or replacement items.The lady who greets you as you come is always helpful and asks what you need and directs you to the right location. All the sales people are polite and very helpful. If you need help with a project or finding a item, they are always ready and willing to show what you need.Home depot is my #1 location to go to for help.Barbara

I have had my Firestorm Drill for almost 20 years and the batteries just don’t last that long. I have one battery that still charges, but two or three or more (I forget) have died over time. I needed another battery so I ordered this one from Home Depot. It was an original Black and Decker Battery (I thought it might be a generic brand) in the plastic container. I plugged it in and it has worked several times without charging it yet. Love the battery and the drill. Just wish replacement batteries weren’t so pricey. That’s why I checked “good” on the value.

I have an old Black and Decker drill that I have had for many many years but the battery no longer held its’ charge. Then it completely died. I wasn’t sure whether the drill itself was still good because of its’ age but I decided to take a gamble and replace just the battery. I compared the prices of this battery on other websites and with the free shipping this battery stood tall among the rest. When it arrived it was fully charged and ready for use. My project has been completed and the charge is still strong without having to recharge it.
