I really like my slow cooker, bought it in Nov 2017. The first time around, i missed the difference between 4 hrs on hot and 8 hrs. I didn’t read the instructions right, as far as changing my 4 hrs to 8 hrs on hot. So the stew, frozen veggies and potatoes came out a little to hard still but tasty. Second try, i made another stew and it was perfection, since i changed the timer to 8 hrs on hot. I love the look of it, easy to open and clean. I hope it will last me for a lot of years to come.

Have actually only used this once now, as we just recently purchased it. Worked as it should and we are satisfied so far. I am curious, however, as to why there is a hole in the glass lid. We have had several slow cookers over the years and have never had one with a hole in the lid…..and there are no pictures on your website that show a hole in the lid. Did I get a defective lid? Please advise.

I received this Black and Decker 7 quart digital slow cooker a month ago as a free item for my honest feedback. Before I received this slow cooker I was using a rice cooker to prepare stews, chili and such. The first meal I cooked in the slow cooker was rice and beans and I immediately understood why slow cookers were meant for these tasks not rice cookers. This slow cooker has an automatic warming feature that switches on when the food is done cooking it is large in size, dishwasher safe and has a locking lid making trasporting hot food an easy task. I have since donated my rice cooker to the church and am only using my Black and Decker digital slow cooker now. I often prepare food for pot luck dinners and I love the locking lid feature and the fact I don’t have to transfer food from the cooker to a safe dish for transport. Now the food retains heat while transporting and if by chance it gets cold, I can just plug in then I get there and warm it back up. I highly recommend this slow cooker as one of the best I have tried. No more forcing a rice cooker to do the job it just wasn’t made to do.

The outside of the crock pot gets hot when it’s on. My previous one didn’t which was better. I went by the recipe that came with the pot but the vegetables were not done and the roast was not as tender as I expected.

I will never have a different crock pot (unless I get the wifi enabled one). Where do I start? I love the gasket on the lid so that you truly have a leak proof seal when the lid is clamped. I already accidentally tried this one out. The crockpot tipped in my car… I thought it was going to be a cream based disaster, but I was wrong. No leaks!The digital timer is great. I have a lot of recipes I like to make when I am at work all day, but 4 hours on high has not been the same as 8 hours on low for me. So, being able to set the pot for 4 hours on high then switch to keep warm until I get home, it an amazing feature for me. I LOVE it. Plus, 8 hours on low didn’t even work for me because I am gone from my house for almost 11 hours with commute. Being able to have things not burn and have a hot meal waiting when I get home is amazing.I highly recommend this slow cooker!!

I got to try this product for a review. This slow cooker is Amazing, I Love the digital feature I can set it and dinner will be done when I come home. It is quiet large I can make a big meal in it and it has room to spare. I made a roast with potatoes and carrots. They were done perfectly and I didn’t have to skimp on the amount I put in the crock pot. I will be purchasing these for my daughters for Christmas.
