Ive had a lot of slow cookers but never had a digital one, and this one is the best. I’ve used it many times for simple things such as dip to dinner entrees. Ive made salisbury steak and meatloaf as well. I like how the lid locks and it’s from Black and Decker, so it’s a great brand that will last many years! I’m very happy with this.

This slow cooker has been wonderful. It is very easy to choose between high and low and set the time. I also love the feature that shows you how long the slow cooker has been on ‘warm’ after the cooking process is done. The portable feature with the locking handles is also a very nice feature. It allows me to transport my food without fear of it spilling in my vehicle.

I recently tried the Black and Decker 7-Quart Digital Slow Cooker and I absolutely LOVE it! It is so easy to use and with the locking lid I have no worries about being spilled. It is so simple to use just turn it on set to warm, low or high and how long you want your food to cook and your done. And I love that I can set it and go on about my day and not worry about it. Even if I get home late it turns its self on low for 30 minutes so no worries of over cooking. With the locking lid it is great for potlucks because once the lid is locked it seals nice and tight so you can take it anywhere.

This product has a feature that allows “X-time” for cooking, then automatically goes to a warm setting. Love it! And the handles make it great “to-go” appliance!

The Black and Decker slow cooker is very easy to use. I toss all of the food in (meats, vegetables, beans, etc) straight inside, and it cooks everything evenly. I love the digital controls. They’re easy to use and the timer is readable. I love that I can cook a meal and transport it in my car without it spilling all over the place! This is my new favorite slow cooker!

I received the 7 Quart Digital Slow Cooker about two weeks ago. I am an avid fan of slow cooking since we are a busy family of 6. I found this product so easy to use and program. I loved the locking handles since I have a 4 year old. It also made it easy to take my food to parties and serve it directly out of the cooker. I loved the different settings and times. I especially loved that when it turned off it automatically kept my food warm. It is stylish too.

Years ago I received a slow cooker as a gift, but I never used it because the ceramic liner was attached to the cooking unit and it couldn’t be immersed. It looked like such a pain to clean that I sold it in a yard sale. Then I saw this Black & Decker Slow Cooker with a removable stoneware pot, and I decided to give it a try because clean up would not be a headache. The stoneware is indeed heavy, and it is quite a large pot. My husband and I decided to try making lasagna using the recipe in the booklet, but customizing the ingredients somewhat to our taste. We placed all the items in the pot according to the directions, and then inserted the pot into the base when done (which keeps the base clean too). It was easy to put the lid on and lock it all down. We could see the cooking progress through the glass lid somewhat. It smelled heavenly while it was cooking, the same way it would as if it was in the oven. However, here is the big difference: my kitchen didn’t get hot cooking lasagna because the slow cooker contains the heat to the stoneware itself. Now that may not sound like a big deal, but I live in Arizona where most of the year it is too dang hot to use an oven. In March we were already having 90 degree days, so running the air conditioner to cool down a kitchen heated by an oven cooking lasagna is plain stupid. This is one big reason why this slow cooker now has a place in my kitchen; things that I used to cook in the oven I can now place in the slow cooker without running a big utility bill. The lasagna came out perfect, just as good as would have in the oven, and in fact maybe better because sometimes in the oven it gets a little dry and overdone (on occasion it’s even gotten a bit burned on top). The slow cooker delivered a very moist and tasty lasagna with no burned top. In fact it delivers a complete meal because there is protein, carb and vegetables all in one dish, and it created three meals for two people.Amazingly, it was easy to serve up the lasagna from the pot. I removed the stoneware pot from the base and placed it on a hot pad, and then I ran a knife around the outside edge, but it really hadn’t stuck terribly much. I hadn’t greased the pot either. When I reached the bottom of the pot, again no food was stuck on. In the past when I baked lasagna, I always had to soak the pan because there would be food crusted on it. While the stoneware is said to be dishwasher safe, the pot is quite large and heavy, so I decided to wash it in the sink. It cleaned up like a dream very easily with a sponge. I was frankly amazed. The lid was easy to clean as well. Both my husband and I are pleased with this slow cooker. It is a definite go-to for future meals, especially something like lasagna, that we can now enjoy during the hot summer. The directions are good in terms of operation, setting the cook time is simple, and all the materials seem to be fine quality. I would definitely recommend this slow cooker.I have included a couple of photos. The round discs that appear on top are pieces of zucchini and yellow summer squash. We also used onion, red pepper, and spinach for vegetables. The traditional mozzarella was traded out for cheddar (because that was what I had for cheese in the house), and it actually was pretty enjoyable.

I absolutely love the Black and Decker 7 quart digital slow cooker! I like that I can set the timer to the time needed for specific foods. It is large enough to hold a huge pork roast, beef roast with potatoes and carrots or soup for a family gathering. Ohhh and the locking lid!!!! No worries about spillage when transporting. The temperature is spot on, not too hot or cool. Cooks perfectly.I am also loving the stainless which matches my kitchen appliances. I leave it on my countertop.

I have loved having this huge slow cooker. The set and forget features are top notch, the locking lid is a must have and the design to let the lid rest on the edge is a game changer!
