The thin cord breaks to quick. Wish I had understood the difference between tapping the spool vs the non-tap method. Should have purchased the tap spool to release more cutting plastic line. For the reduce price I paid and because it is electric, I am satisfied.

I needed something that wasn’t too heavy to lift. This works well for my yard full of Creeping Thyme that needs to be cut a few times a year. I used the garden shears for many years but it was back-breaking and hard on the the knees. I will have to get used to using it but I think this is going to be a great labour-saving tool for me.
