I bought this 5 months ago and am pleased with the performance. It does a good job in making toast when set on 4, anything higher than that and your making roofing shingles, much lower than that and you’re warming bread. Not pleased with the ejection springs, they could be stronger to take it to the top of the stroke, shorter slices leaves you mining the bread out, or if you have 2 hands available you can push it to the top of the stroke to expose the top of the slice for removal. I’ve used B & D products for years and this one is of the same caliber of performance, quality, and price I’ve come to expect. Not favorable reviews here so I hope my pleasure in this unit is not deluded as time goes on…

I bought this toaster about 2 months ago and so far it works great. I am very happy with my purchase and the quality of the product This toaster works great at toasting my bagels and toast quickly which I love. I love the stainless steel coloring, it matches my kitchen perfectly. The toaster doesn’t seem to get very hot on the outside which is a great safety feature as well.
