I have not used the Toaster a great deal, but I find that it works well on Bagels and Bread. Settilng the dial to the middle makes a great shade of brown on the toast. I was a little shy about buying a Black and Decker kitchen products, but some time ago I got their coffe maker and it works great, so I decided to try lthe toaster. So far good.

This is the best toaster I’ve ever used. It’s my second one. The other was still working after 10 years but thought I need a new one. I have a family child care and use it every day. We have meals and snacks all day and it toasts everything perfectly. It is also very nice looking. I love the feature for toasting bagels. The inside of the bagel get brown but the inside stays soft. Great for little one and better for me. I was hoping my new one worked as well as the other one I had. This one toasts even better. I am compelely satisfied wth the defrost selection too. It really is s great toaster.
