I chose this toaster oven as it seemed to be the least complicated and smallest of all the ones I researched. It has two knobs instead of three which helps, but it is still somewhat complicated compared to the 10-year-old toaster oven it replaced. I don’t understand why it has to audibly tick the seconds while in timer mode. The bell at the end of the ticker countdown is extremely loud; we were able to fashion a barrier on it to keep it from being so loud. I do like the removable crumb tray.

Like everyone else since the pandemic kids are home and quick snacks and meals are a must, got this for my children to bake their chicken nuggets and toast bread , eggo waffles etc. Instead of using my gas oven .this was perfect for my needs compact for my counter top ,only thing is it doesn’t have a release hatch on the bottom to dump the crumbs. guess that’s what you get for not fully reading item description.all in all its serving its purpose, cant beat the price and the brand.

It’s lightweight, and spacious, I wanted it to fit a pie/cake pan and it does. Warms up quick, just be sure to check if it’s on bake, broil or toast every time if there are a number if people using it.

After 29 years our Black/Deck 2-slice toaster oven final bit the dust. We decided to stick with Black/Decker even though we had to move up to a 4-slice model. A slightly larger footprint, but not huge. Love the fact that a 6-cupcake tin fits. Bakes evenly. Lots of toasting options. The warming range keeps food from overcooking. Timer lets you know when a cycle is complete. Very versatile. Didn’t think I would like it as much as I do.

We looked for a new one for weeks. The main problem we faced was space or lack of it as our home is not large.Most we viewed were counter top ovens or so it seemed. We don’t need all the belles and whistles;just a small toaster oven with broiler .This Black & Decker Toaster fit our needs exactly. Performed the functions we wanted taking up only an inch more space than the one it replaced.Note of caution. If possible, turn it on the first time under a hood exhaust or outside. The protective lubricant on the inside metal parts was strong to our sense of smell.
