The first thing I noticed was how light it actually was. I pulled it out of the box and immediately tested it the best way I know how. Air Fry wings baby! It worked great! There was no weird smell like some products have on the first few runs.After a few test runs with about 5 wings I upped the amount. I’m not sure how many, but there was no room left. It cooked perfect and in the same amount of time. Just make sure you leave plenty of room in the back (away from a wall), it does get hot. Lowering the settings its just like any other toaster oven.I tried a prepackaged lasagna, but the plastic on top started to burn…so don’t do that. It works great for anything else.I received this product free for my unbiased opinion.

This was my Christmas present to myself mainly for the Black + Decker name and AirFryer. The bake function and toaster were helpful newbyears eve with all the appetizers. I was worried about using the AirFryer function because I didn’t know what temperature it cooked at. Each time I use it I have to search online how long to kook items and still trying to find what temp the AirFryer cooks at. Definitely need a more detailed manual so I’m not searching online and can just use the information provided directly from the manufacturer.

Have had this since Black Friday. Terrific price and great product. My entire family enjoys each meal I prepare. However I am extremely cautious because I don’t really have a reference. Had to examine the box over and over and find details on other similar products in order to operate properly. Would have loved to had a manual with recipes.

I receive this about Amanda girl and I would first like to say that I absolutely love it! I live in an apartment so I don’t have a ton of kitchen space, so I love the fact that this isn’t super big and it doesn’t take up a ton of room. I use this in place of a regular toaster and I love the fact that it’s able to do so many more things than a toaster could. It heats up my food fast and it always comes out crisp and fresh. It’s very easy to clean, and I love that you can change the temperature and it has a timer. I use it to bake my snacks, as well as for meals.

Inspite of all the reviews, I got it as I thought It would be easy enough to find recipes and figure it out.The first try at sweet potato curly fries failed miserably with half burnt and black and the other half still uncooked!!It would really help user adoption if you had a recipe booklet that came with it.

I received this as a Christmas gift and was looking forward to using it! But after reading the “instructions” book, there wasn’t much information on how to use each setting. Granted I know how to use a toaster, oven, but I just have never had an air fryer before. No directions on how to use, cook food properly, recipes. I had to get on here and read reviews to see if other people had a problem. All sounds like the same problem, but after reading some of the Black and Decker responses, I was able to find a link for cooking food in the air fryer. After finding that, it was very helpful! Just not sure why it’s not included in the box.

I bought this because we needed a toaster and I wanted an air fryer, so I thought two birds right?!? The instructions for the air fryer are TERRIBLE!!! It doesn’t say you have to use the drip pan, but use the drip pan or your appliance will catch on fire like mine did! It’s a shame that when you buy an appliance you can blow your nose with the instructions and would fare better going to you tube. There are no guidelines on how long to cook your food, no recipes, I mean really B&D you can do better than that.

I use this most everyday either airfrying or for toast. It makes AWESOME pizza using the airfry setting. However, there is one thing, the food at the back of the oven cooks way faster than near the front. I have to rotate the pizza, or if toasting, rotate the bread back to front. I need to buy a 2nd unit for camping and am hesitating to buy another one just like this one. I have not tried broiling or baking in it, like a cake, I have just toasted, and airfried.

I got this a couple of days ago and like everyone else, the biggest complaint is there really is n’t a user manual. You should have some kind of guide as to how long to cook basic things, where to put the drip pans. It seems it will be a trial and error process.
