Just bought this toaster after much research. Needed a compact one since we don’t have that much counter space. Looks great in stainless steel. Only used it a few times but looks like it will work well. Would have given it 5 stars, but disappointed that you can’t have two positions for the rack. Tried to slide the rack in the higher position and it was very tight. So probably not suppose to use that position.

I bought this about a month ago and am a heavy user, whether for toast or actual cooking. I bought it for the ability to cook faster in the convection oven, which I’d experienced with my previous B&D toaster oven. This model is quite a bit larger than I would prefer (my counter space is limited) and only comes with one rack, but it does everything I need it to do. It’s roomy inside, too, which I like. One big plus is that it comes with a removable crumb tray, which my previous toaster lacked. I wouldn’t buy this just for toasting, but if you cook frequently for one to two people on a regular basis, this is the toaster oven for you!

I am so glad I bought this oven. It made toast very crispy & taste great! Little learning experience needed of course. My 13×9″ baking pan fit nicely & roasted my almond with warm setting, came out great! It’s also countertop height that really helps my back to use & see cooking process. As a senior my husband & me, this oven will do all jobs what we need. Great oven!

Like the size and cooks well once you get use to it. I wish that when you opened the oven door it would shut off – I think that is a safety feature – the old ones use to. Its is easy to clean.

During 2 months of use I have been happy with the purchase. The lack of detailed instructions are disappointing, but it works like my previous toaster oven – set the function with one knob, then turn that particular knob to the desired temp/doneness, However, after 2 months of use, the Toaster knob gets stuck at certain points. As instructed, I would turn the knob past as certain point, then turn to desired level of toasting. It would click and turn for a bit, then just stop turning and ticking. The toaster would still be running, but would never turn off. If I jiggle the knob, it will start turning again, but may stop again. I called the customer service (Spectrum Home Appliances), and after some recreation steps, they have a new one that I received yesterday. Hopefully, this one will be trouble free. I am selecting ‘Not Recommended’ due to my skepticism RE the resilience of the mechanical timer – I wish I had gone with all digital for extra $$.

Great size oven but I sure wish the folks that designed the knobs actually tried to operate the timer – the timer turns so hard that there is no way anyone can turn it CCW when you go past 20 minutes and back to the time you want! I had to replace the knob with one that was off of an old oven in which was designed with people in mind – now it works great.

This is a great item, toasts evenly, cooks/broils well, HOWEVER, please note the size. It is huge. I never looked at the size as I it never even occurred to me that it would be So big. I did some rearranging of the countertop and kept it. I truly like it especially for the great price!

Great idea. Black and Decker always been dependable This takes over 20 min preheat, then only cook items at 325 F or less. Sadly, I had purchased to do my first holiday baking since cancer Not hot enough SO SAD.
