Very nice toaster oven. It will hold 6 slices of bread but cramped. Toasting feature is just ok. Wish it was a little bigger to hold more frozen fries. Doesn’t seem to heat up the kitchen. And will be great to use in the summer.

My main complaint is that the controls take some time to get used to as they are not user-intuitive. You also are not sure whether the oven is working or not so you have to constantly test if it’s hot or listen to the whirring sound to make sure it’s on. The display also does not have a clock.Other than the user interface, the toaster oven has been working fine so far after 3 weeks of use.

Warning, the buttons only have pictures, no titles, like “bake” “toast” “time” so if you forget what the pictures mean you have to keep looking in the manual. Different shelf positions is great, that’s main reason I bought this one. Last B&D toaster oven lasted for 10+years. Hoping 4 the same here.

THE FIXED BACK STOP FROM WIRES / COUNTER TOP SHOULD HAVE A VARIABLE ADJUSTMENT, I ADDED SHIMS. THE BREAD TOASTER SETTING USED UP ALMOST A LOAF OF BREAD TO GET A GOOD SETTING FOR THE FAMILY , THEN I MARKED THE SETTING WITH WHITE OUT, AS WELL, THAT TSTR KNOB REQD ME TO STOOP DOWN TO SEE IF I WAS CORRECT / A MENISCUS ISSUE .OVERALL THE OVEN HEAT DISTRIBUTION AVOIDS ROTATING COOKING A VARIETY OF FOODS, GREAT PRODUCT THANKS / PS: THE BOTTOM CATCH TRAY IS A BRILLIANT TIME SAVER FOR CLEANING.

I am still learning to use this. I had a question with the timer. I had to call customer service and they were quite good, easy to get hold of and explained it well. Right now, I’d say I’m very happy with the customer service on this and will probably have to call them again. I have successfully baked potatoes and cooked frozen pot pies in it and it worked well.

I previously had a similar model with 3 turn dials which lasted many many years. I decided purchase this electronic touch pad model because the turn knobs were not working properly and hard to turn for this senior citizen. I like the “convection feature” cooks faster than other model. Electronic Key pad takes a little to get use to but it is much better than the 3 knob model! This is a large toaster/oven and it almost replaces the big full kitchen oven, have not used that oven since this i purchased this Black+Decker countertop oven. Over all very good purchase, saves on electric bill, like it!
