So far we have been able to cook whatever we have wanted, from frozen pizza to ribs. This oven works much faster than our conventional oven, and doesn’t heat up the kitchen in the process. I have noticed that it cooks slightly unevenly (pizza), but not enough to matter. It definitely gets very hot on the outside, but I have researched and have seen that if you want an oven that’s insulated, you’ll have to be willing to pay 3-400 dollars. Not very cost-effective, when for us, I was just looking for a cooler option than our regular oven, and a little extra cooking space for holidays. Even with the heat that this oven “puts off,” it is still much cooler than our big oven. It does fit a 13×9 glass baking pan, with handles, and I was able to find a baking sheet on Amazon that will fit inside as well. Bakes cookies nicely.

I received my convection toaster oven this afternoon. It fits in my space great. Oven heats instantly. I like it so far. I do have on situation I would like help on. The ad says it has a clock. I was on chat & she looked it up & said yes it does. When I tried to set the clock as directions she gave, it only set the timer. There is a BIG difference between a clock & the timer. There are no instructions in the little booklet about setting the clock. The timer I can work great. How do I set the clock??? If it does not have a clock, then that is false advertising. Black & Decker.

Have been using this toaster oven for a couple of weeks. Love that it can fit a 9″x13″ pan. Have cooked several oven casseroles with great results. Does take time learning how to properly use the functions. Always loved Black and Decker toaster ovens and this one almost replaces my standard oven!

The stainless steel composite is not the best . The oven need to unplug every time after used as they said in the instructions . The clock can’t be adjust . The function are ok . You need to learn how used , good power on heat and bake

i have never owned a convection oven/toaster oven. it takes up a little more space on my counter but well worth that space. i was totally surprised that the oven’s interior was wide enough for a whole pizza. the toaster function is very fast and makes toast evenly. one thing i did not like is that the sides of the unit gets very hot. other than the hot sides; i really love it

We recently got tov try out the convection oven with spectrum brands first look and my family loves it. We completely got rid our our toaster and only use this to toast our bread and other smaller items like little personal pizzas instead having to use the big oven. We have still only used it a few times and it does have a beginning metal burning stink to it but we know after a couple more times the smell will go away just cause it’s so new! Thumbs up from me!

I like to entertain a lot. I frequently have my double ovens occupied so when I got this Black and Decker Convection Oven I was excited for the extra options I would be able to have at my dinner parties. In the handful of times I’ve used it though, I had a nicely cooked chicken cordon bleu, I was left with undercooked potatoes au gratin from the oven repeatedly turning off, and I was left burnt garlic bread from my overcompensating for the potato fiasco. Averaging the experiences out leaves me with an average experience with an unpredictable kitchen device. I won’t be relying on this for parties but it is ok for small dinners where I have the time to babysit the oven to make sure it doesn’t turn off or the food over cook. I also can’t say I would recommend this to anyone I meet because I wasn’t blown away by it. It is great – if you are able to keep a close watch on it.
