This are very powerful hedge trimmers. I’m glad that my husband suggested that I spend the few extra dollars and get the more powerful ones. It cut through hard forsythia stick branches with greater ease than my last trimmers. I liked the design of the “holder” on my older trimmers better though. That was an oval ring you could wrap your fingers around, where the current one is a knob that you have to hold. The guard fell off while I was using them, but my husband just snapped it on, and I think he needed to remove the two small screws and screw it on. The only other thing, I had trouble getting the plug in. It kept falling out and the unit would shut off. Once I got it plugged in securely, they worked very well. I am satisfied with my purchase.

Easy to use. I trimmed all the backyard hedege in 30 min. I used shears before and take me days to finish and have painful arms, shoulders and back. This serves my need and price is good. Don’t have to hire a yard cleaner.

This trimmer did everything I wanted it to do. Light enough to wield for a 62 year old woman. I liked the cord lock once I figured out how to put the extension cord through the hole in the handle. It sheared my spirea like a dream. The only problem was having to pick up all the cut debris, lol.

It turns out I need a different tool to accomplish the task at hand. The chore is better handled with a set of shears. I will be returning the hedge trimmer but I did not even take the product out of the package.
