In the past we have always gotten a cheap simple toaster. No surprise then that they don’t last. We replaced an old cheap toaster with this stainless steel black and decker version and love it! We will never go back to the cheap version or brand. We have had absolutely no issues with this one! It works great for everything from bagels to waffles to toast. It even differentiates between frozen and non frozen items at the push of a button! It is super easy to clean and use. I would definitely recommend.

I always use Black & Decker products. They are quality made and built to last. This toaster was no exception. I plugged it in, and it was ready to go. It’s got a beautiful sleek design, that would look good in anybodys kitchen. It washes nice, and it’s easy to clean. My toast comes out perfect every time. I highly reccommend this toaster.

4 people use it each day for toast or bagels. Some use a high setting, some use a low one. Everyone is satisfied with its performance. You can lift the toast higher with the lever to get it out, and that works great. The cancel button is very convenient if you need to use it. The bagel setting browns the inside of the slice while warming the outside is great.

Really, I should probably wait a while to review this toaster but I’m so happy to be rid of the piece of junk that I was using until today. A few things. The bagel I toasted this morning looked like it wasn’t going to fit but the holders in the slots spread out nicely to accommodate the halves. I still have to get the time adjustment right, but after giving it a while longer the halves were toasted satisfactorily. The cancel feature made that no big deal. Plus I was able to raise the bagel halves high enough to grab with ease. (I had to stab the bagel halves with a knife to get them out of my last toaster.) Next, for lunch I toasted a single piece of very wide rye bread. I was sure it wasn’t going to fit all the way. The long slot proved me wrong. So no more flipping my bread over to get the whole thing toasted. I took a star off because one side was darker than the other side. It was tolerable but not even, and if I had left it in much longer, one side would have been burned. I’ll adjust to it, but you don’t get 5 stars for uneven toasting. All that said, I’m so far happy enough. But then, given my last toaster, (junk right out of the box) the bar was set pretty low.

This is a basic, classic toaster. I like that it has no plastic above the base, except for the controls. I also like the wide slots. Toast comes out quite evenly browned. On homedepot.com, the power consumption is listed as 400 Watts (quite low for a toaster). This is inaccurate. The instructions received with the toaster say it uses 1100 Watts (normal for a toaster). We verified this power usage at 1100 Watts by measuring it. No complaints, though — it’s a good, solid value.

I got this toaster to review and it is amazing! I can’t believe how evenly it toasts and every slice is perfect. You can adjust it to the brownness you want, and you can toast frozen things too. It is so fancy and shiny, perfect addition for my kitchen!

I received this item, and it works very well. I love the settings on the front to have better control on how long the item toasts for and whether it is frozen or not when you put it in. However, I do wish the holes were a bit wider for items like bagels.

I really love the look and function of my new Black+Decker Toaster. The sleek stainless steel with black accents and curved retro design immediately drew me to this toaster. My kitchen has a 1950’s flare as does this beautiful toaster! This toaster features a convenient, large dial with adjustments from one to seven to achieve the perfect level of brown, it has a convenient, easy clean pull out crumb tray, one touch button for frozen items, a one touch button for cancel, and extra-wide self centering slots. I found that the self centering slots would accommodate my bagel half with ease and the self centering feature allowed them to brown evenly. I noticed that my toast and bagels browned evenly without any toasting stripes. This toaster makes a nice even “tan” with no “tan lines” as I like to call them. Please note that this is not a cool touch toaster and it does get rather warm to the touch with use. I don’t find this to be problematic, it’s just important to be aware of especially if you have children at home because you might want to supervise them. I am required to mention that I did receive this toaster for free in exchange for my product review. However, my opinions are entirely my own and I am a happy customer.

I received this Black and Decker 2 Slice Toaster to review. I like the extra wide self-centering slots the one touch frozen and cancel feature. Easy to clean with the pull out crumb tray to keep my counters clean and crumb free. the 2 year warranty is very nice And I love the sleek brushed stainless steel finish which compliments my stainless steel appliances. I highly recommend this toaster.
