I like this toaster seems to be well built and durable. It took me awhile to find my toasting spot on the dial.It is alittle higher then what im use to but it toast very nice on both sides. I especially like the one touch button setting. The slot are large enough for when I dont slice my bagel even plenty of room. Overall this is a good toaster and wont be disappointed in your purchase. Im so happy to have the opportunity to test this in exchange for a review.

I am so excited that I had the opportunity to review this toaster by Black and Decker. Let me first start off by saying, I use my toaster everyday and needed something that I could use daily, but would also with stand the test of time with how much I use it. I will say this toaster is one of the best I have had. I love the stainless color of it, since it matches my other appliances perfectly. Even if you do not have stainless appliances, this I am sure will look amazing in your kitchen. This toaster Browns my bagels perfectly and cooks my kids waffles without burning them. This was the reason I was so excited for this toaster. ***i received the Black and Decker Toaster for free in exchange for my honest unbiased review***

Black and Decker’s 2-Slice Toaster is a good basic toaster. It has wide, self-centering slots to fit bagels. More importantly for me, the slots are a bit longer than many toasters have. I normally eat bread that has bigger slices (such as Orowheat or Pepperidge Farms) than standard sandwich size bread. This toaster fit them fine. The unit has a Toast Shade knob to adjust the amount of browning as well as Frozen and Cancel buttons. A feature you don’t get on this level unit is a bagel setting which turns off the outer elements. Some web sites show this as included, but it only comes with a higher level model. No worries for most of us though. Even on an English muffin, it toasted nicely.How does it toast? Very nicely, thank you. Toast came out consistent and evenly toasted. It was easy to find the right setting.

Not all toasters are created equal, and the toaster industry has been in coast mode for decades. This B&D toaster is no frills, with a great slot design. I looked at every toaster on the market and picked this one because it actually has slots long enough to toast modern bread slices – you know, the slices that are longer than the wonder bread slices of the 70’s that every other toaster slot design is still based on. So no more bending your multigrain slice to jam it in, or pry it out with a fork after. Also the slots have self adjusting widths to accommodate thicker slices or English muffins or bagels. It does toast on the hot side, meaning the setting is running down in the 2.5 to 3.0 range for most jobs. But it does toast very evenly on both sides! Well done B&D, this is an outstanding design at fraction of the price of other nonfunctional toasters. Highly recommend.
