If you like making homemade waffles this waffle maker is a must have. I must say that you have to ensure you use a good batter and not overfill it. Also be sure to watch it so that the waffles cook to the desired coloring that you like but with a little practice it works well. I don’t think it’s overly bulky and it fits underneath my kitchen cabinet when not in use. This is another product where if you have not used it before you may need to practice a few times to get it right but once you do you will have delicious home made waffles at home. I like to use a semi thick batter so my waffles and thick and fluffy.

My kids were thrilled when we got this to review. We always make sunday breakfast and it had gotten quite boring. These waffles were a HIT! They come out so fluffy and soft and Yummy!!!!! We like to add strawberries to them to mix things up. It is so easy to use and clean up is not bad either! Love the non stick coating!

We love it. Our first use was on a camping trip and it made the best chocolate chip waffles. My suggestion is make sure you read the instructions ahead of time and don’t forget to apply oil to lubricate ahead of time. One thing that would make this better is including a measuring cup for even more perfect wafles that way overflow is not an issue hence the overflow plate that is included.

First let me start by saying we LOVED this product. The Black and Decker waffle maker is awesome. Heats up very quickly and has lights on the top to let you know exactly when it is preheated no guess work. I do recommend that you do read the instruction manual just for specifics on when to flip we waited till each side stopped steaming. The fact that you can make 2 waffles at the same time was great. Clean up time very minimal now we used just soap and water on a soft cloth and to get the tiny spots we did use a q-tip lol.

I received this double flip waffle maker in exchange for my review. I finally got the chance to use it yesterday for breakfast. I made peanut butter waffles with it. Taking it out of the box, I noticed that its fairly lightweight, but feels like its a good quality product. The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because I wish it were easier to clean (you can’t remove the cooking plates and wash them), and I wish there were some way to tell when the waffles were done cooking. I burnt a couple yesterday that were only in there for 3 minutes, but the ones I cooked after that stayed in for about 6 minutes and they didn’t feel all the way done (which is probably my fault for opening it at the 3 minute mark). Most of the waffles turned out awesome though, and it was easy to use. My favorite feature is that it makes two waffles at the same time. I like to make waffles and freeze them, so that helps me save a lot of time. I would definitely recommend this product if you’re looking for a good waffle maker.
