I was really excited to try out this waffle maker as I’ve never actually made one before. How hard could it be, right? Well it can go so right or go so wrong. The first couple of waffles I made came out horrible. I didn’t put enough batter so it was hard to remove them from the waffle maker. So I tried again and added more batter to it. Because I sort of winged it on the recipe, the batter was a little bit watery. This caused the batter to overflow and leak out. There was the small plate underneath to catch any of the batter that came out. It came out better, but I was still worried about the batter coming out over the sides. Apparently it happen and it’s not that huge of a deal, that’s what the plate is for. I definitely wish I had read the directions more properly or had watched some video how-tos, but I think I managed quite well. The worst part was cleanup. You can’t really remove anything and there are some smaller nooks and crannies that the batter had flowed into and hardened. It didn’t take too long, but I didn’t feel confident that I had cleaned it all off. Overall I enjoyed using the wafflemaker; after a few tries I got more confident and it got much easier to use. I did receive this product for free to try out in return for my honest review.

Just keep an eye on the time and it works great. The drip tray is fantastic. You have to put in a decent amount of batter, so for a good waffle you have to let it drip it out.

It’s really simple to use like that it’s a non stick very easy to clean also like when your food is ready it has a light to let you know that it is ready also the double is so much quicker than the single takes about 20 minutes to make 10 waffles

I received the Black + Decker Double Flip Waffle Maker in exchange for my honest opinion. Not only does this company make wonderful products, but they continue to impress me. This product is AMAZING. Not only am I able to make waffles in less than 5 minutes, but I am able to get my super finicky toddler to actually ASK ME FOR MORE! I’ve never made waffles before, so on my first run, I just made plain ones with almond milk and vanilla, but I am super stoked to see what other flavors I can come up with. I LOVE this product and I LOVE Black + Decker for giving me the opportunity to test it.
