The Blu-Mol carbide cutter is a very well made tool. The hole saw cut easily through 3/8 steel. Unfortunately, the drill bit snapped on my first hole. Could have been my fault. I replaced the bit and went back at it with a bit I borrowed from tool kit and shortened on the grinder. Then the set screw backed out and flew who knows where. So recommendations are to shorten the bit to slightly longer than the metal you are cutting through. Threadlock the set screw or flatten the side of any replacement bit.
