I used this cleaner on a hardwood floor laid in 1960 which had been carpeted for at least the last 20 years. I didn’t use a flooring machine, just a microfiber sponge, cleaning small areas at a time. It was very labor intensive, but in the end, the cleaner did a really nice job of removing residual carpet underlayment and miscellaneous scuffs and pet related stains. I’m very pleased with the results. There was enough to restore my large living room (270 sq. ft.), my den (116 sq. ft.), and my hallway (58 sq. ft.) for a total of 444 sq. ft. I’ll be following up the cleaning with Bona Restorer.
