I used this product on my 25 year old oak, original hardwood floors after cleaning them with the Bona Hardwood Floor Deep Cleaning product and my Oreck buffer. All I can say is WOW! I thought there was no hope for these floors- so scratched, dull, tired and worn looking. 25 years of sand on the floors, clients dragging bed frames across the floor to move the beds where they want them, and more! I was WRONG! These floors look brand new now. I am so happy! This product works exactly as described if used according to the directions. It was very easy to use, very forgiving in its application. Didn’t dry too fast so there was time to go back over spots with no microfiber applicator pad marks in the finish. I could not be happier. I had to write this review to dispute all the bad reviews this product has received. I don’t know why so many people are so unhappy with it but it did the job, and beautifully, and looks like a million bucks. Thanks, Bona. You saved me a total re-sanding and a lot of dust clean-up. The house looks brand new now. Delighted!

I have been using Bona Hardwood Cleaner and Polish for several years and I am satisfied with results. It takes me a couple of days to complete the job as the floor includes kitchen, breakfast and living area. Lots of furniture to move back and forth. Even though I have to work in sections that overlap, the end result is perfectly matched. I have been using the Sherpa material pad for the polish. Looking forward to trying the oxygenated cleaner next time.

I see that many people are giving this product very negative reviews. Our experience could not be more different–we are very, very pleased with the results this polish has given us over the years.Our house was built in 1988 with hardwood floors throughout the entire first floor. Never refinished or buffed, just periodic use of Bona Cleaner and Polish.For example, this picture shows the floor in a small room near our garage. This is where we hang our coats, our washer and dryer are here, also pantry shelving, plus our shredder and paper recycling. In other words, we walk into this room dozens of times a day. And this is how the floor looks after 29 years of use.All I can say is that those people who have had bad experiences must not be applying the product correctly. Our results have been very positive.

I recently used this product to improve the appearance of our 22 year old engineered hardwood floor. After reading the poor reviews I was concerned and actually went to our Bona dealer to ask about using restore instead of the polish. They were out of the restore and could not have any more in till the next week. We were going out of town for the weekend and the floor would have 4 days to cure with zero traffic. So I bit the bullet and used the polish. Before I did use the polish I spent 4 evenings on my hands and knees with the Bona cleaner and several clean rags making sure the floor was as clean as possible. I was amazed how dirty the floor actually was seeing we clean it weekly with the cleaner and the Bona microfiber mop thing. Early in the morning I put down a layer of the polish and worked my way out of the house, and didn’t return till 4 days later so I didn’t have a clue to what the results would be. When we walked in we were amazed at the new beauty we saw. Heavy traffic areas looked wonderful and extra low traffic areas you couldn’t tell the difference without looking extra hard against a taped off area. We ran out of room to move things around and have to do the dining room area in the next week or two. So we taped off a line at a joint in the wood. I would definitely recommend using this product. Our floor is 22 years old, 3 boys and 3 dogs and lots of company and this Mannington floor is almost as good looking now as it was new. Of course there are dings and some scratches that would require a complete resurfacing that are still there, but 99 percent great again.
