I bought this for my husband and he is very impressed with it. He already used it and was pleased with it’s performance. The Bora Centipede is great for small spaces.

This is an excellent multi-use work support that can easily be transported in an economy vehicle or stored in a closet. Make sure you buy the table top that goes with it that makes it even more adaptable. I use it as a stand for my sliding miter saw and my portable table saw at the same time and still have room on it to use for cutting with a jigsaw or sanding a project. I purchased one on sale for myself and one for a friend and we couldn’t be more satisfied.

This review is for the BORA Centipede 4 ft. x 6 ft. Steel Work Support Sawhorse with 4 X-Cups, 4 Quick Clamps, Bag. I like the idea of it and it unfolds easily. It’s not easy to move around and unfortunately, the very thing that makes it easy to setup, makes it a pain to put in the bag. I think it would have been a bit easier to slide it over the top rather than having the bag open lengthwise and trying to lay it inside the open bag. I have a foldable canopy that’s much easier to get in the bag standing on end. Having said that, it is very convenient when working on site to be able to get it quickly set up. It comes with handy support attachments for 2x4s, etc. Except for its “floppy” nature, I like it.

The Bora Centipede support sawhorse is a really excellent addition to my tools. I found it easier to set up than I thought. The ability to configure it as a work table or just use 2x4s is a plus. I like that it is made with heavy-duty steel and has a 4500 pound weight capacity! The struts are flexible and able to absorb the impact from heavy objects and power saws ect. Another great feature is that it can be closed and put away in a small space when not in use. It came with four quick clamps to hold the surface on, four 2×4 brackets and a carrying bag.

The Bora Centipede work support sawhorse is the perfect addition to anyone’s workshop. It is one of the most versatile tools I have ever used. It is very compact, but folds out to create a 4ft x 6ft portable work table and sawhorse. The 4 x- cups perfectly fit 2×4’s allowing you to have actually 4 to 5 individual sawhorses. The quick clamps are perfect for holding down just about anything very tightly and the carrying bag makes it very easy to transport. This product is a definite must have.

Not much to this. Then I discovered this slotted table fits the Rockler Bench Cookies and T- track hold down clamps. These take this ordinary benchtop to a whole new level for DYI home improvements. It is easy to assemble and breaks down quickly for storage. I highly recommend it.

The BORA Centipede is truly legit! I have ben looking for a worktable, or to make one, but being space challenged right now I have not come up with a solution. I have used sawhorses and boards in the past, but that solution was always lacking. The Centipede looked like it was worth a try, but my first thoughts were it was too good to be true…I was WRONG! It is small and compact and easy to carry and a snap to set up: unfold it, put a piece (or pieces) of plywood on top or some 2 bys and you are ready to roll.. It rolls out to a 4×6 ft footprint and stands about 30 in high and is perfect for initial cut downs of plywood or the like, providing plenty of support. It is rated to hold 4500 (!) lbs and while I did not test this, it is certainly sturdy enough to support my jointer, my miter saw, and my router table all at the same time, without any table wobble. I can even set up a ‘workstation’, with my drill press, miter saw, etc at different locations on the table. I find this to be a versatile work solution. The Centipede comes with X-cups for supporting 2-bys and clamps (or better, ‘hold-downs’). The only thing that is not included are instructions, but after contacting Bora tools, they pointed me to a number of videos on line with all kinds of info. I recommend this; a perfect solution for DIYers and well as professionals on the job site! Wish I had known about this years ago!

I am not a professional but an avid woodworker hobbiest. I have little extra space in my garage so this fold up surface paired with the Centipede frame is perfect. I can fold them up and throw them on a shelf. The set is amazingly sturdy and will easily support my 12” miter saw. I found it to be as advertised. I am a 70 year old female.

The Bora Centipede is a light weight but decently strong (vertically speaking) workspace. It collapses down into a carry bag. Pair with any sheet stock and instant work table. The full expanded size is 4×6 so a standard 4×8 ply top will do. Going smaller in the length (less than 4 feet) is doable (as shown in my pictures) but definitely not ideal. It is important to ensure the legs are expanded completely as the legs do move up and down to allow the table to expand and contract. If it isn’t expanded all the way out, the legs do not have much support and it will fall over (dropped my router off the table). Make sure to read the instructions…Initial use was ok. Leg strength appears fine (again after it’s expanded out the entire distance). The cross pieces connecting the legs are flimsy but don’t carry much load. OK for the general home user but using on a job site consistently would quickly bend something and make it nearly unusable. My main concern for long term use would be durability of the cross members and the plastic. The plastic parts are made of decently thick plastic but feel somewhat cheap. It doesn’t mean they are but just feels that way. The “clamps” have a rubbery end so they “stick” into the holes at the top of each leg to keep the part from moving around, but I wouldn’t put too much faith in this system. Definitely ensure you have the flat top surrounded by these “clamps” when you start to work with this. The system comes with four square cups that also slide into the holes at the top of the legs that should hold a board on the table. I used them and put a board into them but I don’t know how useful this would really be. For me the table is what I really need and then clamp everything to the table top. Having a place to put a single board to measure and cut would take more time than it’s worth.Overall, it’s decent for the average home user who needs a popup worktable as an addition. I like being able to put it in a bag and stick in a corner. It won’t be replacing my shop table any time soon, but it’s a good addition when I need one. Buy collapsible sawhorses instead.

I just needed a work surface that would be quick to set up. I put on top 1/2 inch birch plywood 30×60 and it is perfect.

This product really exceeded my expectations! I have seen on tv how easy it is to set up and take down and thought no way! Well yes way! This product is simple and quick to set up and take down and surprisingly sturdy! This particular product was the perfect size allowing for some overhang on 4’x8′ sheets of OSB, 2x4x8 lumber and Plywood that I had to cut for my project. I think if I had bought the larger size of this product the 8′ material would just fit not allowing for any overhang and making me have to do another step to make the cuts I needed to make. Great product and I can see me using this for all kinds of projects around the house as well as possibly an extra table for gatherings we have!

Great product, a must purchase if you have the bora centipede. You won’t be dissapointed. The bag for it cost about the same, but its a must to protect your table.

The Bora Steel Work saw horse is AWESOME. Made of a high quality material and is very sturdy. I like that you can expand it to different lengths according to the job that you are doing and the height of the steel saw horse is perfect. I also like that it comes with different cups and clamps. The clamps hold your material very good and does not move. The X-cups holds the lumber very well and does not move when you are cutting. I also like the design, as it is made very well with a high quality of material. The storage bag makes it easy to transport to any job that you are doing and the cups and clamps are stored in their own bag. I have used the Bora saw horse when I refinished inside doors and theri was no problem. Was cutting 2×4’s with the x-cups and the lumber did not move and held it well. It is a very nice design and does not take up much room when storing like the old fashion home made saw horses. Very easy to expand and close. I would highly recommend this product to all my family and friends and anyone else who does jobs around the house or professionally. It will hold a lot of weight and is very strong.

This really is a great idea and something that works so well. It is super easy to set up and creates a rock solid work platform to work from. The various clamps provided also keep work pieces secure and they don’t move around on you. Its so much nicer to be able to work and hip height, rather than working on the ground. With the carry bag the whole setup easily stores away and portable if desired. It is nice and light as well.
