I am not a professional but an avid woodworker hobbiest. I have little extra space in my garage so this fold up surface paired with the Centipede frame is perfect. I can fold them up and throw them on a shelf. The set is amazingly sturdy and will easily support my 12” miter saw. I found it to be as advertised. I am a 70 year old female.

Overall, I like this additional work surface for the centipede system. Its super strong and durable and provides a solid platform to work from. Once its secured in place, it isn’t going anywhere. The built in handle also makes it easy to carry around. The dog holes make it super easy to clamp down your work piece and hold everything nice and tight. My one complaint though and part of why it is so sturdy, is it is heavy to carry around. The solid MDF top in dense. And with the hinge in the middle I found it a bit difficult to get secured by myself. Getting everything lined up took some maneuvering around. As I said though, once its on there, it ain’t going anywhere.

I am amazed that such a lightweight and portable product can support so much weight. The BORA Centipede work support sawhorse was very easy to setup and functional for a variety of uses. This Home Depot exclusive kit includes three quick clamps, six 2 x 4 support brackets, six non-slip pads, two hanger hooks, the CK6S 30 inch x 24 inch x 48 inch stand, a carry case for the stand and an accessory bag. The stand can support 2500 pounds. Setup is super simple and involves expanding the product to full size which takes only a few seconds. The six P-Tops spin 360 degrees and have a hole for mounting the various accessories to the stand. The 2 x 4 support brackets are designed to hold the 2 x 4 either horizontally or vertically. The quick clamps can be used to hold items to the top of the stand. The hooks are designed to install upside down so they can hold power cords, etc. The non-slip pads are an alternative to clamps as they provide a lot of friction to hold your work piece in place. They even have a purchasable work top that can be mounted to the stand to create a quick stable work surface. I prefer this to my other portable and foldable sawhorses because of the light weight, ease of setup, flexible configuration and variety of mounting points. I should note there are no instructions included with the product. I had to watch videos and look at box pictures to figure out how to use accessories, etc. but once you see it in action it is easy to use it yourself.

I have wanted one of these for a long time. It is handy to have a work surface support that doesn’t take a lot of space when not needed. Especially good for a small shop or when the work bench is cluttered with tools and project parts. Everything fits into a storage and carrying bag that measure about 14″ x 9″ x 39″, but you need to realize the bundle is rectangular when putting it in the bag. Unfolding is easy, but it took me a while to figure out how to collapse the unit. I finally stood it up on end and it folded right up. It extends to 4’x6′ which will support a full sheet of plywood (1′ extending past ends of stand). Bora also sells 4’x4′ and 4’x8′ sawhorses. The X-cups will hold a pair of 2×4’s horizontally or vertically to lift and support sheet goods for cutting or routing. The hold down clamps are designed to keep a work piece in place while working on it. This works much better than trying to set up multiple sawhorses to support things you are working on. Rated at 1000 pounds. No instructions were provided, but most things are intuitive except collapsing unit.

This product is very sturdy but heavier than I expected it to be. I gave a less than stellar rating because the storage bag needs to be and inch or two bigger so that one does not need to fight to get it to fit in the storage bag. The storage bag was one reason I purchased this item. Now wished I would have gotten the smaller one because of the weight!

Great product, a must purchase if you have the bora centipede. You won’t be dissapointed. The bag for it cost about the same, but its a must to protect your table.

This Centipede 4 ft. x 6 ft. Steel Work Support Sawhorse built by Bora is an incredible invention on the modern-day sawhorse. I have had several different sawhorses over the years some that I have made and none of them are as handy and strong as the Centipede. It takes about 10 seconds to set it up and comes with 4 clamps and 4 2 x 4 holders. The Centipede doesn’t come with a top like some of the pictures show but can be purchased from HD.com. Tops, clamps, bags, and other accessories are all available from HD.com. At first, I had some difficulties folding the Centipede up until I realized by lifting the two center stands up makes folding it up as easy as putting it up. It took me about one minute to fold it up and put it in the carrying bag. The carrying bag is big enough so that putting the Centipede into the bag can be easily done by one person. This is definitely a must have.

This BORA Centipede 4 ft. x 6 ft. Steel Work Support Sawhorse with 4 X-Cups, 4 Quick Clamps and a storage bag is a really cool product. I do a lot of woodworking and most of the time my current project is on my main workbench and it can be a real hassle to remove everything off the workbench and get that sheet of plywood on it, cut what I need and then put everything back on the workbench. But no more! With the Bora Centipede all I need to do is set it up which takes less then 20 seconds (if you have it in the included storage bag), put the plywood on make my cuts and back to working saving a lot of time and hassle. This system will hold up to 4500 pounds which for me, is hard to visualize. The 4 x-cups are for holding 2×4’s for a more stable work platform. Very happy with this product from Bora.

The BORA Centipede is truly legit! I have ben looking for a worktable, or to make one, but being space challenged right now I have not come up with a solution. I have used sawhorses and boards in the past, but that solution was always lacking. The Centipede looked like it was worth a try, but my first thoughts were it was too good to be true…I was WRONG! It is small and compact and easy to carry and a snap to set up: unfold it, put a piece (or pieces) of plywood on top or some 2 bys and you are ready to roll.. It rolls out to a 4×6 ft footprint and stands about 30 in high and is perfect for initial cut downs of plywood or the like, providing plenty of support. It is rated to hold 4500 (!) lbs and while I did not test this, it is certainly sturdy enough to support my jointer, my miter saw, and my router table all at the same time, without any table wobble. I can even set up a ‘workstation’, with my drill press, miter saw, etc at different locations on the table. I find this to be a versatile work solution. The Centipede comes with X-cups for supporting 2-bys and clamps (or better, ‘hold-downs’). The only thing that is not included are instructions, but after contacting Bora tools, they pointed me to a number of videos on line with all kinds of info. I recommend this; a perfect solution for DIYers and well as professionals on the job site! Wish I had known about this years ago!

This is a nice job site tool. You can use it for a work table , a office table or cut plywood sheets on it. It is a nice size to support your project or sheet goods. The multi hole areas to the lock downs or the 2×4 supports. The light weight of the unit is easy to transport and set up. The adapters for 2×4 and the lock downs fit in the small bag and then everything fits into the carrying case.

Easy assembly and take down and storage. Sturdy. Serves all purposes intended and more. Great value for money spent.

The optional surface would be useful but 3/4 inch plywood, cut to size, works well. Makes a nice work table for the shop. The support seems sturdy and has flexibility for various applications.

This review is for the BORA Centipede 4 ft. x 6 ft. Steel Work Support Sawhorse with 4 X-Cups, 4 Quick Clamps, Bag. I like the idea of it and it unfolds easily. It’s not easy to move around and unfortunately, the very thing that makes it easy to setup, makes it a pain to put in the bag. I think it would have been a bit easier to slide it over the top rather than having the bag open lengthwise and trying to lay it inside the open bag. I have a foldable canopy that’s much easier to get in the bag standing on end. Having said that, it is very convenient when working on site to be able to get it quickly set up. It comes with handy support attachments for 2x4s, etc. Except for its “floppy” nature, I like it.
