It is a great platform. Cut the plywood to fit, bolt on the wheels and done. Moves easily but locks in place when needed.

Very easy to assemble and use. Wheels are a little small but work ok.

PRO: Got tired of picking up, and dragging my table saw around, plus my back didn’t appreciate it either. After searching, and reviewing several locked wheel set ups, I decided to give this system a try. It had everything the others did except the base. For the difference in price, I could have bought several sheets of 3/4″ plywood, when the smallest I needed to cut up was a 3′ x 3′. I had that lying around. To make a long story short, I got exactly what I was after. If you don’t have trouble with assembly, this is well worth the savings. I have since ordered and received another for my compound miter saw. CON: The one recommendation I would give is to consider the part in the instructions to add an extra inch to each dimension. It states it’s to clear fasteners. However, it doesn’t clarify if it’s the fasteners on the assembly, or the tool. I should have gone with my gut and left maybe a 1/4″. There are no fasteners on the assembly to obstruct, and I didn’t have any protruding from the legs of the saw. At this point I’ll stick in some shims. I’m giving it a 5 star because it is doing exactly what I wanted, and putting in the 1″ was my fault. Didn’t listen to experience.

Exactly as described. Went together very easily. Bought a second one 2 weeks after I purchased the first.

This is the first BORA Universal Mobile Base I’ve used, and I’m very pleased. All components are well made and nicely finished. Instructions are clear and easy to follow. Best of all, when assembled it is an excellent base. Moves easily when when swivel casters are engaged, and holds rock solid when when you lower the base into position for work.

Base is sturdy, well made. Instructions are sketchy. Had to take it apart once because they were so vague. Once we figured them out, glad we purchased.

This is my third one and I gifted my Son with the finished platform.

Seems to be of good quality. Instructions are a little lacking (such as what thicknesses of plywood are recommended for the hardware) but it works well, rolls smoothly. The retraction mechanism for the wheels doesn’t rely on springs or significant friction, just the position and weight holds it in place.

Works great does exactly what its supposed to.

They work fine, once I finally figured out how they work. The manual that comes with it only explains assembly, not how they work (maybe I’m the only one that didn’t know how they work). But they are so large and stick out so far that I trip over them all the time.

Easy to assemble. Front wheels need to be larger diameter. Bolts drag on ground.
Hattie Kuhn (verified owner) –
The was easy to assemble. It works well for moving my table saw around my tight shop. The only shortfall, the instructions don’t provide the minimum thickness of plywood to use as a base. The plywood base needs to be at least 3/4 in thick. If not the bolts will scrape the ground.
Thaddeus Nitzsche (verified owner) –
I bought 3 of these. Very easy to install and moves tools with ease.
Dillon Walter (verified owner) –
Had to buy longer metric bolts to install 2 layers of 3/4″ plywood. The instructions could be more detailed on balancing between wheels-down and the screw legs. Otherwise, works fine for a 19″ bandsaw weighing 367 lbs.
Wilhelmine Lakin (verified owner) –
Exceeded my expectations; a very cost effective way to mobilize equipment. The plywood concept makes this approach extremely customizable.
