Durably made with a tubular steel design, the BORA PORTAMATE Folding Portable Miter Saw Stand is designed to help you get in, get out and get the job done. Featuring quick mount tool attachments to quickly and safely attach or detach your saw to the stand in seconds and without tools, this stand has 2 material supports that can be pulled out to support 116 in. of material with up to a 500 lbs. capacity. When it’s time to go, the folding legs swing under the center portion secured by pins that snap into position for easy and compact portability.

After looking at the more rugged and expensive portable wheeled stands, I was put off by their weight and cost. The Portamate stand had all the features I wanted yet was significantly lighter negating the need for wheels. The saw is easily disconnected from the stand and the legs fold up quickly. The only drawbacks with this, the most affordable stand, is that the leg heights aren’t adjustable for leveling and the pivoting leg joints look vulnerable to torque damage though this is entirely hypothetical. Just take care deploying and retracting the legs and the joint should be fine.

This stand is very sturdy. Came with extra hardware to perfectly fit my miter saw to its adapter base. The adapter base easily goes on and off the main stand for quick break down to store or to reassemble for a quick project. The reviews were good and it is what made me go with this one and I am happy that I did.

Very well built and nice and compact for transport. It’s a bit high for my taste and I’m about 6’. I do like the way the saw can easily un-clamp from the stand.

This thing will last longer than I will! Perhaps not the fanciest, but certainly capable of doing everything I’ll ever ask of it. The mounting hole pattern on my saw didn’t match the machine mounts or the offset mounting brackets that were included in the package. I was still able to solidly attach my saw to the stand. The working height of the stand was also a big plus.I’m so pleased with the stand that I’m considering the saw horses made by the same company.
