This unit replaces a harbor freight miter saw stand. I have installed my Dewalt mitersaw and what a space saver for my small 10×20 wood shop.Works as stated.

At first not too happy with it as most of the metal panels were warped and looked cheap. But after I assembled and put the saw on it all the problems went away. I had to spend some time adjusting all the screws and bolts to make the flip top not hit the sides and also to make the top lock in place. I am quite happy with it now.

This was a Christmas Gift for my husband so I’m pretty sure he’ll be satisfied with this.

I studied every source of information on the Portacube STR; blogs, videos, and customer reviews. Upon unboxing and assembling it, I was immediately impressed by its quality and detailed, thoughtful design. The instructions were straightforward and easy to follow. I mounted a Festool Kapex 120 sliding compound mitre saw to the unit. After adjusting the material supports for height, I now have a high precision workstation in an incredibly convenient form factor. It stows for storage very quickly and deploys for use just as quickly. Each setup is the same as the last – which is to say the settings and adjustments remain where I set them. The Portacube is so efficient and space-saving that I now have two; the second is for a planer/surfacer. Some reviewers have commented that this is a perfect solution for small shops or garages: that’s true. But no workshop ever suffers from too much floor space. This platform makes space saving – and supplemental benchtop area – a breeze. Strong, simple to use, high quality construction, and cost-effectiveness make the Portacube a winner for me.

Works perfect and saves shop space and adds a surface to work on. Sits just below my cabinet saw height so it can be stored right behind the table saw.

Handle hard to work; won’t easily slide up or down. 1 protruding knob missing on right side handle. 2 small spots where paint did not cover the metal.

Some of the parts were to of a light gauge. Does do what’s advertised. I also have the pm 7000.That’s more substantial.

It’s a sewing cabinet for a miter saw. It’s ingenious. Works well. Putting it together was as fun as putting a grill together. They have an online vid that helps. Sturdy. I highly recommend.

Assembly is easy. Instructions are good. That being said, getting everything squared up requires lots of patience. Once you get it set up it’s a joy to use. Is it worth the price? Yeah. You can move it wherever you need to Which is more than I can say for wall mount systems. If you need to you can put it in the back of a truck and haul it wherever you need it. Even to your ex-wife’s! LOL

I would like to see better adjustments for the side wings. The plastic locking clips seem flimsy and I wonder how long it will be before they bust. Overall I like the versatility of this.

This is one of the most substantial saw bases that I have found. This is very portable and has very good folding extensions that work well with my Bosch miter saw. With a small workshop I was looking for something with a small footprint when not in use. This base takes up no more space that a rolling storage unit I built for storing hand tools. I recommend this base for anyone looking to use for small shop work to onsite woodworking as a contractor.

I purchased this item from Home Depot. The product came packaged very well and in excellent condition. It will require about one hour to assemble if you do it by yourself. It takes basic tools and YOUR ability to follow the instructions. The instructions are some of the best I’ve seen…and I am one of those that usually don’t use them but in reading reviews of this product and the struggles people had with assembly I used the instructions. This is NOT difficult to assemble. I installed my DeWalt Flexvolt Miter saw into it successfully. It was about the biggest saw the unit would hold in my opinion. It works very nicely and really helped me maximize the space I have. Buy it, assemble it and enjoy.

This has give key miter saw a great home. I love the stability of the twos extension wings. This has increased the area of useable floor space in my two car garage. Best and easiest miter satiation for the price. Worth every dollar.

I needed a table with wheels big enough to go thru grass – this one does it. I needed something compact when not using – this one does it. I also needed a worktable to work on – this one has it. Directions were a little bit of a challenge but this novice figured it out. I spent about 3 hours putting it together and installing the saw. Most of it is made using metal, not plastic. The latching apparatus is plastic which seemed odd. Its pricey but for me it was perfect for my needs.

I can make the Bora Portamate work, but it is some manipulation on my part to work as expected. And assembly was not easy as the parts did not fit together well, although it should not stop you from purchasing. There are some design flaws, such as the need to press in on the pop up side panels.
