I purchased this drill a month ago to aid me in putting up a new section of our garage wall. The drill filled my needs quite well, with its variable speed and reverse capabilities especially useful.

I bought this drill over two years ago. I used it for a remodel of my own as well as loaning it to friends. It is just a basic 3/8 corded drill, plenty of power, solid construction, and a reasonable price. A solid contractor grade drill.

I bought this as a replacement for my tired old drill. It has many good features, good torque, good cord length, keyless chuck and good trigger tension. The only negative is the forward / reverse switch which to me sticks out way too far and is right under my fore finger when the tool is in reverse

The drill arrived in a box that looked like it had been opened and then retaped. The drill was in the box with no packaging leading me to think this may have been a return. Fortunately, the drill works but I’ am not pleased with the condition it was received in.

I recommend the Bosch 1006VSR 3/8″ corded drill to any DIYer who’s frustrated with the time it takes to keep cordless drill batteries operational. As a homeowner who has occasional need of a drill, the 1006VSR is always ready when I need it. At its price point, it beats the competition in terms of value, power, and handling. And to top it off, it’s a Bosch and looks good on my bench.

It’s very powerful, but too heavy for long time use. I need something I can hold for a long time, with polishing bits, and screws. Also, it doesn’t have speed control. It’s very hard to hold and maintain the same level of pressure. This drill is only good for drilling fast. So, it does not work for me. But, it’s a good quality product to get in addition to other drills.

I would recommend Bosch power tools to anyone that works on projects for themselves, or on the job for a contractor. They are easy to use, and last a very long time. I use mine on a weekly basis and am always thrilled at the ease of changing drill bits, and the reverse option for removing screws.

Its one of the lightest drills in its class and its power rating is excellent.

I purchased 1006VSR Drill sum time ago and I used it weekly around home, at the local museum, loaned it to family and friends and it is still doing what I need it to do.

Handy, powerful. And, the chuck is easy to use. Also like my old Bosch that started working again. It’s decades old.

I bought this drill because I needed one not dependent on batteries. It is an excellent drill. However, the variable speed on the pressure of the trigger allows me to put too much power/speed on a screw sometimes. It would be better control with a dial to control speed and power.

I have challenged my 1006VSR on its durability several times and I lost every time! This product endures any kind of extended usage and delivers precision and performance like no other.
