Don’t worry about concrete anymore. I was the guy who struggled with cordless drills before.

If this drill last the 10 years of heavy used that my last Bosh 8 Amp did, that would be great. The minor changes to the package are appreciated. Metal grip part that folds out to grip belt is a plus. Controls slightly better. Metal latches on case will last longer that old plastic on last drill.

Does the job, but depth gauge is a joke. Do not trust it!

great drill works great with 1/2 in drill bit

Works as advertised Documentation could be improved by adding Bit size. I did not know the difference between sds plus and the othersI had to call and ask.

If anyone has done much with power tools, using this tool is fairly self-evident. Once knowing how to insert the chisels into the driver, the rest is straight forward. Definitely, need to use two hands. Being able to adjust the position of the chisels is a great help to get at close spaces and angles. I used it to replace bricks on my chimney, that were set with concrete and not mortar. I had originally started with a pneumatic chisel, but my compressor only had a 6 gallon tank, so the pressure dropped within 30 seconds and the compressor could not keep up. This is my only use so far, but will easily pay for itself, over hiring a bricklayer or even renting a power chisel, especially since I will have to replace few more bricks next year.

Butta’ baby…this tool made my job as easy as a hot knife thru butta’. This drill, combined with the bulldog bit went through 50 year old concrete with heavy aggregate a breeze. I also grabbed a chisel bit to work on some pavement stones. Will provide an update later.

I’ve owned hammer drills in the past. Had a Hilti and a Makita. Both were battery powered because I used them in the field. When the batteries need replacing they’re almost the cost of a new drill. The Bosch is electric and that will suit my needs now. It powered through concrete (with aggregate mixed in) steps like a champ! Extremely happy with the performance and the price!

I wish I had bought this drill YEARS ago. I had been relying on a 18v hammer drill for heavy duty tasks…and while it ultimately did the job this Bosch drill does it in a fraction of the time! I also like that I can attach other SDS+ bits to do other tasks, like breaking up concrete, etc. Love it!
