We are electricans and generally do not need this large of a hammer drill for the holes we bore. I purchased this drill mostly for driving grounding rods and I’ve noticed two great characteristics with this machine, first it drives a 10 foot rod in hard ground in less than 2 minutes and secondly it doesn’t mushroom the rod as much as the Milwaukee it replaced. It’s also a great hammer drill in concrete. Thank you.

i own a business and have had another bosch sds rotary hammer drill for 6 yrs. so when i added another truck i bought this hammer/drill a little bigger than my other one and it does a great job either drilling holes for pipes or chipping the floor . great buy

Like I said, Ralph (Our Nickname) can drill any concrete we put him up againest. We have rented the same style of hammer drill a number of times – liked it so much we now own one. So, if you need a drill for a heavy work load with bits from 1/4″ to 4″ this is the drill you all need. Ralph kicks some a_s.
