This roto hammer is very powerful. I bought it to rip up a tile and wood floor. I got the Bosch scraper blade and it tore threw both those floors easy. Clear directions for assembly and maintenance. Great roto hammer I would buy again.

I do a lot of remodeling and keeping dust down is always a challenge especially when you are drilling into concrete I was a little apprehensive when I opened the box this attachment looked somewhat awkward but after taking it out and attaching it to my rotary hammer I found it very easy to install and use it works great and keeps the dust and debris down to a minamul

We used the SDS-max and Spline Chiseling Dust Collection Attachment for Rotary Hammers with a Bosch SDS hammer drill (model number 11255VSR) and a Rigid shop vacuum (model number WD1851). To evaluate effectively, the first time we used the dust collection tool, we replaced the filter on the vacuum. That makes a difference since some of the debris can contain very fine particles that will clog up your vacuum and diminish suction. That’s an issue with the vacuum, not the dust collection tool. The dust collection tool worked really well and was not difficult to attach to either the hammer drill or the vacuum. It does add some bulk to your hammer drill, but it’s not significant and the benefit of the dust tool outweighs a bit of bulk. Both husband and son liked it, so I’m good with that.

I bought this to replace my Bosch hammer drill that I bought as an apprentice electrician 24 years ago. You just can’t beat the quality, reliability and value of these drills.

This is a great hammer drill. I fitted it with the Bosch tile chisel and used it to clear the kitchen tiles and the backer board for a remodel project. It made really quick work of the task. I chose this product over other options because it can also be used as a hammer drill.

Every time I go to rent a rotary/demolition hammer it was a craps shoot. Half the time they lacked the necessary power or were just a plain lemon. This hammer will do any job you throw at it. It’s expensive yes, but we all know you get what you pay for. Bought the 1-1/4 model first and it didn’t quite have the power I wanted. So I just went ahead and bought the biggest one I could find in the store that day. I have since busted up over 1,000 sq ft of asphalt and some concrete. Dug through rows and rows of hard clay, I have striped tiles and tomorrow will be tearing up 500 sq’ of out door carpet. Definitely worth the price tag if you can afford it.

Hammer/drill has a lot of uses. I have used it to drive rebar into the ground, bust up tree stumps, and concrete work. I would have given it five stars if the price tag was a little more reasonable. But the hammer does work and work very well.

What a wonderful demo hammer and drill. It’s got plenty of power. With its two settings (plus a turbo boost) either demo hammer or rotary hammer drill, there is practically nothing you can’t do. It’s durable, it is quality to the max, perfect weight, smooth power. I use it to dig holes with a 4.5 inch clay spade and it pulverizes even the hardest of soils. Lately I have faced some of the hardest dry hard packed dirt ever. Water does not even drain penetrate thru this soil in a few days. Gypsum or other soil softeners have no affect. It’s like brick or cement. Digger bars or picks just bounce off this soil. But not this hammer demo drill. It is amazing tool for my landscaping business, it makes demo and construction much easier. I totally recommend this tool. It is one of the easiest no-Brainer 5 stars ever.

I requested this dust collection attachment for the Bosch SDS-MAX series rotary hammers I was looking to buy to supplement my tool collection. When I checked with my neighbor that has the same tool I was looking at we tried this attachment out when going through a cinder block he had out back. The attachment effortlessly removed the bulk of the dust created by chiseling through the porous cinder block making it easy to see our progress and make sure we stayed on our mark.

Purchased this when my store had them on clearance, and it was surely a steal. Great power to weight ratio with this rotary hammer. Use it primarily to drive ground rods. Noticed that it was replaced on the shelf by a model that was made in China, which I would have passed on.

This was is a bad mojo, so light my wife could use it. I spent close to a grand with all the attachments but I couldn’t have done the job without it!

The literature with the product warns users that extended use can have effects on the hands. Apparently the shock absorbing feature of this one is totally effective. I had not noticeable affects from using it for an extended period. It’s worth it! This is a great tool for a home owner. Several useful features such as trigger lock, variable speed, and right/left adjustable side handle.
