The Bosch 11264EVS Rotary Hammer packs 6.5 ft. lbs. EPTA of impact energy and features a strong 13 Amp motor for impressive power. With the vibration reduction system in the hammer mechanism, as well as the grip area, you get comfort for extended periods of work. With the hammer’s 1-handed, tool-free SDS-MAX system, you can change bits with ease and still achieve maximum job site productivity. Includes SDS-Max and Spline Chiseling Dust Collection Attachment. The HDC300 is a unique dust collection attachment which will fit on all Bosch SDS-max, spline combination rotary and demolition hammers with exception of the 11316EVS SDS-Max Demolition Hammer. The HDC300 is unique in that it allows the user to access the chisel for installation, removal and/or adjustment without removing the attachment. The shroud itself focuses air suction from the vacuum around the chisel for maximum dust collection. The attachment also features a metal extension arm which can be adjusted forwards or backwards to position it correctly around the chisel and to accommodate different chisel lengths. The metal arm also provides added job-site durability. The shroud features a convenient rubber bumper at the tip of the shroud to provide cushion should it contact the work piece during use. The HDC300 comes in a kit that includes an extension tube and 3 adaptors to fit different sized hammers.

I never thought I needed something like this until I had to do a job on one of my uncle’s houses and I loved how it focuses air suction from the vacuum and it made it super easy and clean to work with. The Ski-boot style clamping band provided and adjustment onto the hammer tube really well. It has a rubber bumper that provides cushion on shroud tip. I liked overall the ability and ease to use in projects like this.

Unit will fit most all Bosch SDS-max and spline rotary and demolition hammers, and bring you in compliance with recent OSHA silica regulations. It certainly does work, picking up the brunt of dust created in my trials with my Bosch 1-5/8″ SDS-Max rotary hammer. That said, I did find the product a bit cheesy and clunky, and overpriced for what it is.

This dust collecting attachment is designed for Bosch SDS max and spline rotary hammers. I have several and needed this to help comply with the new OSHA silica regulations. It comes with an attachment arm that adjusts for various chisel lengths, adaptors, and it can accommodate different types of vacuum hoses sizes, which is great because mine is not a Bosch. Not much to say besides that it attaches quickly, works (as long as you have a working vacuum) and keeps you legal and your lungs and workspace clean.

Ir have been a builder remodeler for 48 years, and as such I have many opportunities to use a product like this SDS-MAX AND SPLINE CHISELING DUST COLLECTION ATTACHMENT FOR ROTARY HAMMERS with my dust extractor to keep the jobsite clean. We are more aware of the need to preserve our health these days, and this unit works very well to accomplish that goal These are of high quality, and work very well for clean up work, for concrete drilling, other other applications.

My review is mainly about my trench digging experience.This is my first time putting SDS Max bits into the drill, I initially didn’t install the bit correctly. Turn on the hammer power, there is no any movement from the bit. After couple attempts, I finally learned that I need to push in the bit and twist it somehow to get it “latched”.I need to dig a 100 ft trench to build retaining wall on established lawn slope. There are three four trees around. I bought this hammer with SDS Max clay spade hoping to dig through tree roots, but I learned that it doesn’t. It bounces without cutting through roots. Digging through lawns without tree roots is a easy job for this hammer though.For finger-size tree roots, I need to use reciprocating saw to cut them.So the trench digging job ideally requires two persons: one uses this hammer to dig. Once encountered tree root, 2nd person with reciprocating saw could cut the root quickly so that 1st person can continue digging.Vibration: my hands didn’t feel any strong vibration at all. Very very minor vibration which I believe will not make my hand numb by any chance even for hour long usage.What makes me tired is to keep pulling up the clay spade.Once the digging is done, next job is tampering. Instead of renting a 200+ lbs tampering machine, I believe I could just use the Bosch 5″ tamper plate with this tool. I am about to order tamper plate give it a try.I give it 4 stars instead of 5 stars only because it doesn’t dig through finger-sized tree root.Overall, love this tool!

I needed to drill a couple of 3 1/2″ holes through brick and this coupled with the 3 5/8″ core bit from Bosch was the perfect duo. I loved the variable speed to soften the blow at the beginning and end to prevent cracks and blow out. I think the drill will be adequate for most every job I will do in the future. This thing is absolutely amazing, and it works every bit as well as I had hoped that it would. I attached it to several different brand rotary hammers, both cordless and corded and was compatable with all of them. It is not limited to blue hammer drills. There was one that I had an issue with getting the attachment part of the unit to stay oriented with the drill, but it was more of an inconvenience than an issue. It was solved with some shimming.If you are doing any masonry work in finished or semi-finished areas where dust control is even a small thought, this will help greatly. It made a huge difference in several projects.

Nice light weight and power full tool. i used most of for drilling a holes in my hvac work. 4 inch drill through a brick wall is a pice of cake. We also were able to drill through 10inch foundation with 4 inch core bit.

As a professional Contractor, I have used this for many years and always performs but buying the right model for the type of job is very important. There is not much that this model of Bosch Hammer cant overcome. Would recommend for chipping coring or driving with the right attachment.

This is a nice adapter that is designed for Bosch roto-hammers and may fit other brands as well. It is designed for use with a Bosch extraction system and vacuum.I used this adapter with a different brand of roto-hammer. It worked well and was adaptable.The Bosch hose designed for this adapter has positive locks that prevent it coming disconnected from the tool. This is but one part of a dust extraction system.I want to also mention the Bosch vacuum hose that is used with this adapter:The connection end for the vacuum is designed to fit the Bosch dust extractors; however, I did use this with another shop vacuum in which I had an adapter for. It is recommended that if you are complying with any regulations involving dust extraction you use the Bosch VAC090 and VAC140 dust extractors and appropriate filters.
