I received the drill from my son for Christmas. I am finishing the basement of my home that was built in 1947. I used the tool to drill holes for Tapcon screws in the exceptionally hard cement floor. Drilling the holes was much faster and easier than with a much larger B&D hammer drill I was using. Thanks for the great product!

The drill is balanced and comfortable to use. I like the longer cord making it more convenient than hunting down an extension cord. The drill has plenty of power and I like the hammer drill, both functions operate perfectly. The drill has plenty of power (using a 6″ hole saw I needed the side handle due to the strong torque). The drill came with a depth gauge, chuck wrench, rotatable side handle and a nice case. The only potential problem is the side handle is difficult to tighten, having a rather small wing nut making it difficult to snug up.

My initial review was after I’d used it a couple of times as was based on my previous combo drill from another manufacturer. Just wanted to say the drillis still performing really well. Very glad I purchased this drill.

This is the perfect hammer drill for the homeowner who likes to do his/her own remodeling projects. I’ve used it for securing floor transition pieces in concrete floor, attaching egress window wells to cement block walls and numerous other projects. I’ve even borrowed it out family and friends who really liked it also. I highly recommend it.

Ive used many other hammer drills before from all different companies, bosch is by far the best. All other drills ive used the cord or 2nd handle has broken off. My bosch drill that ive had for over 5 years is still perfectly intact and the drill really does do all of the work!

Yes, I bought this BOSCH hammer drill about a months ago.It has a very powerful motor for the size and weight of the machine, and it is ergonomically well shaped which makes it easy to handle. I also like the chuck-key holder as being part of the cord. I find it very practical for all manner of drilling jobs.

I’ve had this tool for a shot time but feel it’s well worth the price. Handles well, good price and solidly constructed. would and have recommended this tool.

I bought this tool to drill some weep holes in a concrete deck. It performed well enough for its design. I had to rent a roto hammer to complete the job. Am keeping it for normal drilling into concrete walls for fasteners and such.

Bought this tool a few weeks ago for a specific job, to put up shelves on a concrete wall in my garage. The Bosch worked wonderfully. My only complaint is that the auxilliary handle slipped off a couple of times. It feels like it needs tightening with pliers.

I bought it to mix cement and grout for tiles and to replace/support my old drill. Along the way I used it to drill tiles. It is strong and easy to use. So far I love using it.

I bought this hammer drill to drill anchor bolt holes in concrete. I was instantly impressed with the perrmance, but my co-workers are impressed every time I use it. One of my favorite comments came from one theHe said “I didn’t know it could be that easy.” I use Bosch concrete bits and I have drilled hundreds of anchor bolt holes at depths of 4″ up to 12″ and each hole is drilled in a matter of seconds. This has proven time and again to be one my wiser tool investments.

Great drill for the money. Quality Bosch product, replacing the previous one I owned for over 20 years. Never have a problem with any Bosch tools.

For a corded hammer drill on the lower end of the price scale, this baby works real good. Even used it in drill mode to mix up some mortar for laying tiles.

So far so good! The majority of my power tools were purchased in the 1960/70’s and all have METAL bodies. Not one failure or job not completed with occasional maintenance. Have been forced to purchase PLASTIC bodied power tools, hard wire and battery, for the past few years. Since using a similar “hammer” drill I decided to purchase one since they were not available in the past. My Craftsman 1/2 inch METAL BEAST has always been trustworthy and is geared so low it has spun me around more than once when applying too much pressure or hitting something solid while using. I wonder how long the “plastic bodied” power tools will stand up to my abuse…

Sturdy, yet light, this drill does a great job. A switch on top allows one to use it as a regular drill or as a hammer drill. Good buy for the money. Nice case, as well.

Pros:Solid feelGood power for medium duty (DYI homeowner)Quality hard caseGood chuckCons:Switch went out (locked in a full on position) during drilling five 1/2″ x 1 3/4″ deep holes in concrete and had to take to a service center. A fast failure after not much useage time.
