I only used it a couple of times, and it was drilling through wood, but so far so good. Combined with the Bosch spade bits with the threaded tips it was a breeze to drill through joists.

First time using a hammer drill, so it is a bit aggressive when at max speed. I used this adding a 2/4 wall on my cement foundation. My holes would be 1″ deep. I had my concerns being too aggressive, as I didn’t want to harm the motor or damage the drill bit. Not making much progress, I eased into being more aggressive and let the drill do its thing. My first hole took about 10 minutes. Afterward, my next holes took about a minute each. As a practice, I counted to 10 seconds then cleaned the debris.

This is a great drill for the price. It drills through concrete very well (both 1/4″ for tapcons and 1/2″ for deck posts) and the variable speed is perfect for starting holes accurately. I like corded products much more for this type of duty than the cordless and it has not disappointed.

Bought this drill a month ago to use to drill into my concrete stoop to attach posts. Drilled 8 holes with no problem. Very powerful drill. The depth gauge rod needs to be sturdier because it vibrates back and forth when drilling. It also should not be made of plastic because it might get ground off on the end when it hits concrete.

I needed a hammer drill that would always be ready to go, even in cold conditions and remote locations.

I work in the construction industry and have used this drill for over a year. It’s been drilling anything I have thrown at it without any issues.

I just bought this a couple days ago hammer drill and on some brick walls you put furring strips up. For some reason I had a problem with a Chuck coming loose by itself and the bit not spinning. It didn’t do it every time but it did it about 10% of the time maybe a little less I plan to bring it back and get another one see how that one works. I’ll let you know what happens

My manager bought this for me to replace my older drill that had been stolen by an ex-employee. First impression was that it was small enough for me to handle, and had a nice long grip on the chuck key so I could get plenty of leverage tightening or loosening the chuck. I liked the sliding selection switch on top and out of the way, previous hammerdrills had toggles on the side that were easily damaged if the drill was dropped. The depth gauge feature on the fore grip is a bonus, I haven’t had a use for it yet but it’s nice that it’s there. My favorite feature is the variable speed, with nice power at low speeds to get demanding yet delicate work done. Other larger drills I have used burn up if you run them at low speeds.

After taking over 20 min to drill a 1/4inch hole in a cement wall in my renovated foundry condo with my usual 110v drill with carbide bit a while back, I “took the plunge” to buy a hammer drill for my newest project – mounting a shelving unit on the same wall. 1191VSRK. I feared I might have bought an underpowered tool compared to some on the market, but that fear disappeared after 6 second holes with next to no effort. Very comfortable and easy to use. Capital!

Was what I expected.

I have found the hammer part of the drill to be a bit timid at times but I think maybe the concrete is too hard in places, not sure. Maybe I did not bore enough holes in concrete in my younger days.

This light weight tool is very effective in small brickwork drilling for secure anchoring jobs in concrete with quality drill bits. I also used this drill with 18″ x 1/2 inch masonry bit to drill an access hole for wire for outdoor camera through cement filled cinder block wall. I am very pleased with the price and performance of this tool.
