It’s a Bosch. As expected it works wonderfully. The WOW factor – it is super quiet for a router. Using a freud 1/2 inch roundover bit I had to visually check to ensure I was actually cutting into the wood at times. Not super crazy about the wooden handles on the base but I put one hand on the router itself when cutting to stabilize (preference) so didn’t have an issue.Love it. I was also considering the milwaukee body grip. Perfectly happy with this Bosch and for $100 less. More than I really need for my garage hobbyist level wood working.

Looked at a few over the years and really liked this one after my brother bought his. Even more so after I used it the first time, worth the price for sure.

This is an excellent router platform. I also bought a Bosch router to ensure compatibility. Works great and very stable. I have used it many times in the last few years and very durable. I call it a router platform because a table it is not. Too low to use on the ground and too high if used on a workbench. What I did was build a custom table that makes this the best portable Router table on the market. Love my Bosch Router platform/table.

There is a reason that this little gem is listed as the “best in its class”. This machine answered the bell and more when called upon to do demanding and detailed work. When the saw dust cleared, I was left with a very satisfying piece of craftsmanship; and the confidence that my shaping needs would be met every time I stepped up to use it. Bravo Bosch.

This is an upgrade from my 35 y/o craftsman router table. The table is smooth, the fence is very solid. The insert took some time to get level, partly due to the fact that my craftsman didn’t have an insert plate, so I’ve never adjusted one before. Very nice, very solid!!

First, I am a jack of all trades and master of few. I have worked in the commercial construction industry for 30 years and on the management side for the past 20. I came up through the industry as a rough carpenter, not from the finish carpentry and millworking side. That said, the router is great and ready for professional use in my opinion. The motor is heavy enough to handle single pass cuts for 3/4″ thick edge cutting, and the fine adjustment on the depth is great. The only thing from giving this an overall 5 star review is the table. It is certainly sturdy, and the fence is really pretty good. I really like the top once the router plate is leveled out (a bit of a trick) it stays put. I also like the miter sled ability on the aluminum top. The issue that I have is maybe a bit of a picky one, but I would have liked a “fine adjustment” on the fence. The tabletop has measured grooves to target the fence, but the grooves are very thick. You can “shoot” for the front, back, or middle of the marking as each line must be at least 1/32″ wide. Doesn’t sound like much until you start working on finer joinery. Again, it may not be a big deal to the novice or weekend warrior. The finer and more “professional” the work, though, the more effort it takes to get set up. I can manage the setups with the right tools, but the finest fencing adjustments are more cumbersome is all. Overall, I give this table, tabletop, and router a 4.5 star rating. The pros will want to use a router lift system and will add their own fence system anyhow. Out of the box, this combination will take care of 85% of us as it does me.

This is an excellent router combo/kit. This is a tool that may not be beginner friendly because it it loaded with almost everything an experienced or professional user could ask for. I think the lower reviews come from newbies not able understand how it works and what you can do with it. That being said, I have been using routers and woodworking power tools for over 40 years and this is by far THE best router I have ever bought and used…. it is just flat-out good. I have found absolutely nothing to complain or criticize about with it. Read the instructions carefully as you look it over and pay attention to how everything works and you will have no problems using it. And using it is a pleasure because of the quality, craftsmanship, controls and every other part that Bosch has put into it….. it’s just that good… period. I highly recommend this router combo/kit.

I ordered this online and picked it up at the store, it was exactly what I needed to make precise routes with my new Bosch 1617 EVS router. It took only 25 minutes to read the instructions and set-up. This is my first router and table. Everything was as advertised and the fence was square upon installation.

Great combo. Easy to use and learn to use. The bigger collet chuck was not working properly but HD connected me to Bosch very easily and they were able and willing to send me the replacement piece free of charge. Great customer service and i absolutely love this tool!

Assembly wasn’t bad and all the hardware and parts were present. Leveling the router plate wasn’t to bad either (mine hasn’t moved out of adjustment like another reviewer experienced). I found it worth while to take your time assembling and adjusting the table. The size of the table is nicely functional for many projects. My table surface was quite flat (not prefect but very good considering the level this table is intended). The dust collection works well attached to a common shop vacuum. The included power switch has two outlets allowing you to power on/off the router and vacuum at the same time. The quality and grade of the fence and accessories are okay and they work as intended, but adjustability and usability could be improved. While this is not the size or grade of far more expensive router tables, I feel it is a very nice hobbyist plus grade table and seems durable enough to last a long time. The table does not have rubber feet and can move while working longer/bigger pieces of stock. I bolted mine to a work table (with the included bolts) and added a little rubber between it and the table to reduce vibration. I have used it to make shaker style drawer fronts and doors for a kitchen with very good results. For the price this has exceeded my expectations. I am very happy with this purchase.

Works well. I think the plastic black end pieces that makes contact with the work piece should be made of a heavier plastic material. Or make them out of aluminum.

Assembly instructions, excellent. Easy to switch motors from fixed to plunge. Easy to change bits and shanks, excellent fine tuning depth of bit. I have a cheaper router for years but the rule that there is no point in buying a cheap tool certainly applies here. .

Overall, the benchtop router table is adequate. My issue is with the system used to attached the feather boards to the router table. It’s a pain to use. My second issue is not really an issue with the router table itself, but more that I was not able to use my Jessem router lift in this table. The opening is too small for the lift. Overall the table will suffice!
