Good value, easy to assemble with a sturdy top. Using this with my Milwaukee corded router only concern is there isn’t an access hole for adjusting height with the wrench but it is easy to reach under to adjust.

Tabletop does not have a standard 3/4 wide guide slot so if you upgrade your guide and mitre it will not be very accurate without modifications router seems pretty good but table is a little disappointing for the cost

My router was able to mount directly to the plate and it is versatile to many models. When assembled the unit is robust with a surface that smoothly transitions for the wood not to get hung. The downside is there is quite a bit of assembly not that this is a purely bad thing, however there is a fair about of adjustment and tweaking that could be eliminated by parts being manufactured to tight tolerances allowing for bolt up assembly to have smooth transitions. The legs being made of plastic are also a downside and will get brittle when left in an ingested shop during the winter.

Powerful and fairly easy to use for a complete beginner. depth adjustment dial is straight forward and effective, just need to remember to catch the play before securing. Switching from 1/4″ to 1/2″ tools not a problem

I just bought this Bosch RA1181 Bench Top Router Table to replace or in addition to an old Craftsman router and router table that I have mounted with DeWalt brackets for DeWalt’s Miter Saw Bench. I would love to know about Darell’s custom table. That would be a very special addition. Looks like a terrific portable stand for this router table. The only problem is how to find out more from Darell about his custom creation without every nut in the world knowing our email or telephone. Price for this Bosch is good and seems like a very functional tool with the included accessories. I have no doubt I will enjoy working with it.

So far I have only used this router (in the fixed base) attached to the Bosch aluminum top router table. I’ve made Shaker doors and drawer fronts for a kitchen with very good results. The router has plenty of torque at lower rpm (for the bigger tongue and grove bits) and it has a good range of speed adjustments to suite a wide range of bits and materials. The depth adjustments are nicely designed and capable of fine tuning in small increments. It also support depth adjustment from the bottom(Allen wrench included) for when mounted to a router table. The router came with both 1/4 and 1/2 inch collets. This router does not have a shaft lock so changing bits requires two wrenches(included). I have yet to use the plunge base but it also looks to be the same top quality as the rest. Unfortunately this kit does not come with a router edge guide. One is available but as a separate purchase. I’m tempted to take off one star for that reason(but I purchased it knowing it wasn’t included so I won’t). Over all, I am very happy with this tool.

Router worked a treat. Very smooth. Took awhile to assemble the table- but it you can handle a router, I’m sure you can handle a few screws.

Love this item and I have already used several times. The router mounting plate was more difficult to level than I expected, but I am overall very satisfied.

East to assemble and was very easy to use.

Great product and one of the best rated router tables out there. I’m an avid woodworker and have recently downsized during retirement. The instructions were excellent and detailed but just be prepared for a 2-3 hour assembly. Like anything if I had to assemble it again it would take half the time. My Porter Cable router fit perfectly. I would highly recommend this product.
