Only used it on a simple project router edging 2 drawer fronts but seeing as I’ve never used a router before it was alot more simple to use than I initially thought it would be. No kick and smooth. I’ve only used the fixed base so far but look forward to trying the plunge base now.

Overall the table works fine. I was disappointed because of the switch, it lasted approximately five uses.

I already love my Bosch Router. I have had it for one month and just finished my first end table. I can not believe how much I used that tool for this project. Why did I wait this long to get a router ?

I’ve only ever had a cordless trim router until now. This thing is a beast. The 1/2 inch AND 1/4 inch collets are very convenient as I’m no longer limited to buying 1/4 inch bits. I haven’t used the plunge base yet, but the fixed base is easy to use and adjust.

Very heavy duty, plenty of power, the plunger attachment is invaluable. There are a couple of minor “could be better” points: (1) the plunger isn’t smooth, it sticks and needs a fair amount of pressure sometimes to push down; (2) it is a bit bulky for hand use compared to smaller units but that is why I also have a 1 HP cheap one.

Bosch’s routers are known for being the best, and it is definitely true. I have the fixed base mounted to my Kreg router table, which is mounted on side of my table saw. It is nice that the holes line up perfectly with the Kreg table. I have only used the plunge base a few times, but it was really easy to use. Once you set your depth on the plunge base, it will stay locked in and produce consistent results.

It can do everything that I need it to. Worked very well on my first project. Happy with purchase so far. *I’m not a professional.

This is my first router and so far it worked well for me.I wish the on/off switch was easier to reach while still holding both handles. It also feels like when I lock down after fine depth adjustment it shift a little bit, so I end up locking a hair off — important for round-over bits.

Nice, Sturdy router table that is storable and portable too! With the need to clear room in my workshop, and to be able to have a router table that is truly transportable, this Bosch table is a gift from above. It folds up very nicely and easily, with storage in the pockets/bins that are part of the legs. Relatively easy and quick to put together (there are a lot of parts when you first open it), it has been able to do everything I have asked of it. The storage bins in each leg are a nice touch; these wind up being a great place to store throat plates, a screwdriver, shim plates, etc. Nothing worse that getting to where you are going to find out that you left the throat plates at home; this solves that. I suppose you could store router bits in them but I would not put them in loose. The featherboards do not fit well in the storage pockets, but you can pack those with your router. One really nice addition is the depth gauge; it makes measuring the bit height very easy. Granted, it is not super accurate but is plenty good enough for my purposes. The featherboards are mad of a hard plastic and do not have much give in them, but this is good and you really do not want your workpiece to be able to move backward. Great manual; one of the best and clearest I have seen. Do check to be sure your router will work with the table. I will eventually get a cordless router to dedicate to this table. The Easy Click router mount is very nice and is quick and easy to use, providing the simplest hookup arrangement I have ever seen.My complaint is it is made of a LOT of plastic; this is nice for weight and transportability but how it will hold up over time is still to be determined. I suspect with care it will last, as the plastic is not that cheap, thin stuff, but what will happen when solvent gets on it is to be seen. One other drawback is the miter gauge: the numbers are hard to see (no coloring on them so they blend into the gauge) and when the miter gauge is tightened down so it won’t move from your setting, it will not slide easily (if at all) in the track.Thankfully I have not had to use it much.Overall, for ease of use, storage ability, and transportability this is a very nice table.

The router has exceeded expectations, have had for about six months and have used in several build projects (tables and sled for Christmas gifts) and for many restoration projects and the router has worked great! No complaints solid construction. Swapping between bases is easy. Mounted fixed base to router table and was a simple process.
