This router set is well worth the money, high quality and much better than others in the same horsepower and price range that I’ve used. The soft start may not be quite the softest, but after pretty extensive use building guitar bodies with this thing it consistently performs well. The plunge base depth adjustments are accurate and easy to use, as well as the ones on the fixed base. I personally highly recommend it.

Muy bueno

Excellent. Plenty of power. Clean cuts even with average quality bits. Speed adjustment is nice. Bigger and heavier than I expected but now that I’ve used it I find those to be perks.

The router is quite powerful and easy to use. The different bases are simple to interchange. I paired this with the RA1181 router table and cannot complain.

Received this without damage as it was packaged very securely. The unit is surprisingly light and compact, cleverly collapsible and accompanying parts (featherboards, height gauge, tabletop inserts, etc.) fit inside one of two integrated “tool boxes” with clear plastic covers: these plastic covers may be the only part of the entire unit that seem likely to break…will see with use. When set up, the assembled table is extremely stable and smooth. Attachment of various different routers is possible via a series of holes in the mounting plate. Instructions for both the minimal assembly required and use are complete and detailed.

This Bosch RA1141 is a must-have for any woodworker. It is portable with folding, locking legs and storage built in. It is fully equipped with all components a larger stationary table would have (included). It has a quick click release mounting plate that is compatible with 9 different name brand routers. Adjustable fence with dust port and featherboards. Power switch with removable lockout key and circuit reset button. Easily assembled and light weight. Comprehensive instruction booklet. Bosch has thought of it all.

Bosch 26 in. x 16.5 in. Laminated MDF Top Portable Jobsite Router Table is a variation of their popular aluminum top router table. They replaced the aluminum table top with MDF and added retractable folding legs to make transport and storage easier. My first impression is this router table has plenty of plastic with an MDF top, any job site environment will not be kind to it.. It weights about 33-pounds without the router. In folding the legs the table is about 9-inches high for carrying with the plastic fence stored with hold-downs in the body. I found it awkward to carry any distance, especially with the router. The table, in my opinion, is less for job-site use, more for working in less demanding places. Bosch offer several suggestions for setting it up, primarily mounting it on a workbench or on a piece of plywood clamped or screwed to a stand. The table can slide when bumped, I did it, if not held down. I’m using it with my Workmate table, screwed it with wing nuts to an alternate MDF top I made a while ago. The router table is a good one, just needs some extra care. The router I used is a Hitachi / Metabo fixed router that Bosch listed in their operating manual. It installed easily to the universal router mounting plate that locks / unlocks to the table in order to change out bits or close the legs. Still when changing bits it is a small hassle turning the table on its side to get in the wrenches to work on the collet. I really need to get router offset wrenches. The good point is the MDF table top is flat and level, no problems. The power supply is two outlets, one for the router and another for the shop vacuum, controlled by a single paddle switch on the front. The paddle doubles as a power lockout key. Every time you pull a power plug out the plastic flexes a little, not encouraging or so it feels. With vibration running the router, I wondered about eventual plastic fatigue. The featherboards are solid and was a little confused when first encountering the side plates, they are only for use with the table track, not the fence track. They should use standard, same size T-tracks for both tracks instead. The featherboards are good, stay in place when locked down, as is the plastic miter gauge. The two clear plastic guard assemblies over the bit are excellent. I like they are not fixed, but hinge when using them. No so much the tabletop inserts around the bit hole, stick when snapped in, difficult removing. In conclusion, this is a portable router table and as such, has its limitations. It is compact and takes much less storage space in the garage, has plenty of extras like a split fence to name just one. For those that use it for weekend work, it is just fine. If you take care using it, it will do excellent work.

Very nice tool, but would have liked to have the guide with it. That had to be purchased separate.

Great product, allowed me to complete my project with ease, especially compared to the lower quality router I had been using. Very happy with my purchase.
