The Bosch 10 in. Table Saw is a precise, durable and high-performing table saw. It is equipped with an innovative Modular Smart Guard System that has a quick and easy-to-use modular blade guard, anti-kickback pawls and riving knife system for superior control over the material you’re cutting. All 3 elements are modular and tool-free, so you can effortlessly remove or add each one independently based on the task at hand. The blade guard is particularly user-friendly with enhanced split-guarding that offers optimal line of sight and maximum protection. The riving knife prevents the material from pinching the blade and offers positions for full upright, “splitting” and “non-thru” cutting.
- Includes one 10 in. worksite table saw (# 4100), 10 in. 40-tooth carbide-tip saw blade, sliding miter gauge, hex key and smart guard system
- 15 Amp motor for up to 3650 RPM to power through tough jobs
- 10 in. blade for fast, accurate rip cuts
- SquareLock rip fence that glides along the rail at a finger’s touch or locks in place for solid and consistent cutting performance

- T-slot miter gauge for precise rip cuts
- Maximum cut depth of 1-7/8 in. at 45° and 3-1/8 in. at 90° for a variety of useful cuts

I bought this saw for my shop as a second tablesaw. I found that I needed a saw to go to if I was set up on my big saw for a specific purpose and didn’t want to break it down to make another cut. It has worked out great and use it oftener than originally planned. I put all the accessories on it , which are easy to install. It is attached to my Dust collection System with a 6″ duct. It sets on a cabinet as the mobile base took up too much room for a permanent location.I found that the accuracy of the saw was very good right out of the box, I did not have to tune it in any way. The blade that came on the saw is of better quality than I expected, a decent blade. With the handy extensions on the left and back makes it quite versatile and compact. the digital readout (optional) for the fence is quite unique and accurate. Easy to tilt and change angles, no worry about sawdust gumming up the tilt mechanism. For a compact saw this is a real workhorse, plenty of power, and accuracy, compact and potable. Very happy with mine.

This is the second Bosch table saw I have purchased. First one lasted 11 years of hard work, and I mean I pushed miles of boards through it, without any problems, except for having to change the cord end. This one is similar with a few changes. There is a rounded flange type of bottom that is designed to keep the base of the saw from breaking when it is removed from the gravity rise stand. While this flange makes the saw easier to slide around while transporting, it acts as a dust trap and a lot of dust gets caught in between the sides and this flange. When you tilt the saw, it keeps rains dust all over the place. Also the dust exhaust shoot now has a slight dip in right at the bottom that acts as a dust trap. When clean, the shoot directs the dust out of the rear of the saw, as it should, but after several cuts this area fills up with dust and causes a portion of the dust to redirect out of the top of the saw, on the backside of the blade throat. You have to constantly keep cleaning the shoot to get the dust to come out the rear of the saw. I plan to stick a panel in the shoot to level off the dip, and that will keep the dust exiting at the rear. Some material goes through the shoot better than others, but MDF, which is so fine when cut, really collects in there quickly. All in all it is a soil machine, cuts very accurately, when adjusted properly, and if you don’t abuse it, stays accurate. No tool is 100 percent in all features, but my opinion is that Bosch products have it right in most areas, and coupled with the reliability, makes me give it a big Two Thumbs up.

Though I dont own one of these at this time (I will as soon as my dewalt wears out) I have had the priveledge of using one on several occasions at work. It is very light weight and easy to move around the jobsite. It has a very smooth and powerful motor that I do not find offensive to the ears.

I have only owned the Bosch 4100 job site saw for 3 weeks but so far it has exceeded my expectations. The portability is a huge plus but it cuts very smooth and accurately as well. Lifting it into the back of my truck by myself is no problem – there are plenty of hand holds so it is not an awkward effort. Storage of the fence and other attachments is another plus. I’m happy I bought the saw and I will be remodeling a Kitchen next week so it will be put through a thorough test.

Overall: I did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews. Very pleased with this saw and give it a double thumbs up. I’m not a professional but heavy home user. Just finished 16′ of base cabinets and built in bookshelves with this saw. Here are some of my thoughts on it:Although the portable stand with wheels functions fine, I didn’t want to spend another $180 dollars for it so I decided not to buy the in-store combo. I custom ordered the saw on its own for $450. It arrived FAST… had it in three days. Website had a free shipping offer. If you do want the stand, get the kit. They run over $210 if you buy separately.Saw will store almost flat against a wall if it was on the stand. Stand is rated one of the best and it can be used with other saws – again, I just didn’t need a portable saw & put that money towards a nice blade. The digital read out wasn’t something I cared about so I saved money and bought the model without.Set up was easy and I was surprised how close the miter and saw adjustments were right out of the box. Only tweaked them a little bit to get them square.CAUTION: The left side and rear extender accessories that you see advertised on the net may not fit the new version of this saw. (March 2012). Saw has been updated recently and mine from HD is the newest model. The attachment points look different than the previous models. Make sure you double check compatibility if you plan on buying those extenders.Couple saw comments… the blade protector does not get in the way & I leave it on most of the time except to transport; however it takes a little practice to get use to taking it off and on.Pleasant surprise include nice places to store extra saw blades, the miter, and rip fence. Just make sure they are secure before moving the saw or the fence can fall out on your leg/foot.I haven’t tried it yet, but it looks like my shop vac is going to fit right on the dust exhaust. This saw is very quiet… what a surprise. Neighbor even commented on how quiet it was. Also, it seems that it comes up to speed gradually which doesn’t dim my lights when I first turn it on (like my miter saw). Not as light as listed… feels like 55-60lb. But I’m fine with it because it is sturdy and less likely to move around when cutting.Tip: A saw can only take you so far then it comes down to the blade…do yourself a favor and get yourself a nice blade if you need a nice edge…Diablo blade ($40) is a good choice.Overall, if you don’t have the need, the room or money for a cabinet saw; this portable saw is great. Go buy it and stop thinking about it.

I bought the saw a couple of years ago and have used it quite a bit. Just finished a bed platform made with melamine. The saw did a good job cutting the melamine to final dimensions. Love the easy start feature and the stand is the best I have ever used. Very easy to get in and out of my shop and is portable so can move it to a job site easily.

I bought the saw a couple of months ago, and I love it. The gravity rise stand make set up a breeze. I looked at several brands of saws, but the quality of the Bosch 4100 was un-surpassed. I also purchased the left side and rear extenders, and the dust bag. They fit perfectly and function very well, they are also priced very reasonable. I also own two Bosch cordless drills and they out perform my Milwaukee and Craftsman drills. Would highly recommend this product, or any Bosch product. Quality tools!!!!

Did a lot of research and it was a toss up between this saw and a Dewalt. This saw performed excellent, I recently used it for reconstructing a stair case (cutting risers and treads) as well as installing laminate flooring.

I bought my saw about four months ago. I bought this saw because it is versatile and I needed the compact design for my very small shop. This saw has performed well in every situation I have put it to. This saw will last me many years and then I am sure my son will inherit it.

I have several Bosch tools and my 10″ Worksite Table saw, like my other Bosh tools, certainly meets the highest standard needed for quality work.

Saw works great as long as you aren’t cutting anything to thick that will cause the motor to bog down and burn up the field or destroy the speed control board. As far as recommending this saw I would as long as the person needing the saw isn’t going to be cutting a lot of hardwood or 2x material. The saw is an okay value until you start buying new fields and speed control modules.

I bought this saw in December for my Christmas gift because I have been using my nephews saw {which is identical} for two years and I believe it is the best portable saw on the market.

This is a very good table saw. Very mobile without losing the power and ability of a shop saw. Very nice rip fence and cuts smoothly. I had been wanting to buy this saw for awhile and glad I finally did. Cutting full 4×8 sheets is now a breeze. Highly recommended to all my carpenters out there.

Smooth running and makes nice cuts for a portable table saw. Purchased together with gravity rise stand that makes it so easy to move around (one of the best factory stands that I have used). Would like to see a dust exit port that one could angle to the side or downward as part of the package. Would be nice to have a little more rip capacity with the fence. I do have a full size cabinet saw which has spoiled me but that said, this 4100 model comes in close.
