The Bosch 10 in. Table Saw is a precise, durable and high-performing table saw. It is equipped with an innovative Modular Smart Guard System that has a quick and easy-to-use modular blade guard, anti-kickback pawls and riving knife system for superior control over the material you’re cutting. All 3 elements are modular and tool-free, so you can effortlessly remove or add each one independently based on the task at hand. The blade guard is particularly user-friendly with enhanced split-guarding that offers optimal line of sight and maximum protection. I have owned my 4100 saw for over two years now. It has been very reliable and has done a great job for me. I read about the “nickel test” and tried it on my 4100 … the nickle stood up running and sawing! Having previously battled with table saws (and lost), I keep all the safety things in place, with very, very rare exceptions. I find that for routine cutting they do not interfere at all.

I bot about ten yrs ago. Have used it a lot. (Coffee and Tavern Tables, Cupboard, Settle, Mantle, Beds, Candle Stands, Windsor Chairs, etc. (Abt 80% of my furniture) I have been very happy with the saw. Rips easy, fence is good, table is pretty level. I also bot the side and back extension – highly recommend. For long rips get an adjustable height roller. Things that could be improved:1). I always wait for blade to stop completely before picking up cut pieces. Blade takes a long time to stop turning. Needs some kind of electronic brake. 2). Mitre was very ‘sloppy’. Had to add a piece of blue painters tape to each side of the mitre so it will run straight in the groove.3). Dust collection is not that good. (Do not buy the dust collection bag – complete waist of money). Back exhaust tends to clog with thin strips. I removed the clean-out cover off the lower blade housing, and put a cardboard box under the saw for sawdust collection. Works very good. My shop is in the basement with limited space. Saw is easy to turn to diaganol angle for those longer rips. Saw is light enough to drag out of the basement when I need it outside. (Hard rubber tires would be better than air filled. They keep going flat.) Overall I have been very happy with the Bosch 40000-09 saw. Would definitely recommend.

I am a woodworker who needed a table saw for my basement shop area. This is about as big as I could accept. The mobility feature is a plus. While Dust collection is somewhat adequate you will still need an air filtration system to clear the air of fine particles and to wear a mask. I use dust deputy on my shop vac as well. Before purchasing the saw I was concerned that since there is not a dedicated height lock for the blade it wouldn’t be accurate for non through cuts. However I read a review that said the blade does hold its’ setting and I can testify that it truly does. I’ve been using the saw to make box jointed drawers out of 1/2 inch BB ply. With a freud box joint cutter set and jig the joints are perfect. No problem the blade stayed set where I set it through the whole process of six 5 inch wide drawers. The stock blade did a fine for through cuts along with the inexpensive Bosch zero clearance insert for preventing tear out. Pay no attention to the bad reviews on Amazon for the Bosch insert. For some tasks such as ripping plywood or making grooves in plywood they work great. The guard system on the saw is easy to use and along with the riving knife and adds an added factor of safety. It can easily be removed and replaced for tasks where it would be in the way.The fence works well and the table is flat. There is a little sag in the far outside corner of the table when the telescoping rails are fully extended which does not seem to affect the quality of the cuts. For most tasks this 15 amp saw will do most of the jobs you need done for making furniture. Milling large pieces to dimension will have to be done on bigger machines, but once thats done this saw cuts very well and is a joy to use.

I wanted a good quality saw, I got it with the 4100

I have owned this saw for ten years and it has never let me down. Very accurate once it is dialed in and plenty of power as long as you use a sharp blade. Dust collection is decent and the built in arbor lock is nice. My only complaint is with the throat plate. My first one warped and the red paint on the Bosch OEM replacement rubs off on the workpieces.

This is one well thought out machine… everything about it: setup, use, accuracy power, capacities comes from a brain trust of users… It works for us and our bottom line….

I bought this saw to replace an old table saw that needed some work. The Bosch name is familiar to me and represents quality. I especially liked the fold up function that allows for better storage when not in use, and its ability to be moved easily around the worksite. I’ve only used it a little since I purchased it, but have no complaints. It seems to cut accurately and has plenty of power.

I bought this a few years ago, and have used it several times. It is a great saw that fits in a small space, but is easily moved to a location for bigger work. I have used it to rip long material, and it does an excellent job.

This saw does everything I have asked it to do. It is small enough that it fits in my shop well, but still has enough power to cut everything I have put to it,

Bosch has a gem here, with everything you’d want in a job-site saw. Lots of clever features, precision construction and materials and great portability/storage make this the choice for any woodworker who prizes quality.

I liked my Bosch 4000 table saw a little too much and it was getting tired, so I purchased the Bosch 4100, it still fits on my gravity rise stand, and has many of the great features that the 4000 had plus improvements.

After looking at many table saws, I decided to purchase the Bosch. It seemed better constructed and the portable table it attached to seemed to be a plus. I’ve used it a few times in the last month and am very happy with the purcase. Easy to operate, it can be relocated to different locations in my very large garage with little effort.

Perfect saw from the first time I took it out of the shipping box. Smooth and quiet operation.

I’ve had this saw for two years. Knock it around in my work truck, and it’s STILL holding true/square. AWESOME value!

My workshop is very small and it is important for me to have high quality tools that don’t take up a lot of space. Several years ago, I bought the 4100 with the gravity lift stand. I fully expected to sacrifice quality with a portable table saw, but I was very wrong. The 4100 is accurate, powerful and easy to use. My best friend is a home builder and when he observed my Bosch 4100, he went out and bought one to take onto his job sites. Enough said!

In the midst of my kitchen remodel I realized I needed a new table saw. I had owned my old saw since 1990. I had made mental notes of what I would like in a new saw over the years and when I researched the Bosch it was as if someone had read my mind. Portable and yet still able to perform large cuts due to the easy to use expanding table. I purchased the stand as well and love not having to lug around the saw and then finding a table to set it on. The saw is near perfect, now if I could only remember to measure twice!

I have had the saw for a few months. Only issue is the blade was not aligned to the miter slot. I did adjust with a digital gage, now it cuts great.

Had my last one for 15 years using almost daily. So when it came time to replace, I bought the same. Wish it worked with old stand but other than that it’s pre much the exact saw.
