We use lots of Bosch tools. This saw is very nice. Everything was pretty much square on it out of the box. Not much adjusting. The assembly instructions were easy.

Have had mine for over a year now.Best money I’ve spent for a tool, easy to setup use and, works as advertised. If you want a small space saw this is the best of both worlds folds up out of the way and, has the ability to do the fine work. Of much higher price saw

Bosch Model 4100-09 , portable 10″ table saw. Purchased 6/17/2010.This portable table saw exceeded my expectations. I have used it for the last seven years with only a few minor inconveniences, the fence loses its’ parallel occasionally after ripping large numbers of siding panels or twenty or more framing lumber pieces, the dust port sometimes clogs with tiny shards from the above mentioned practices. In every way this tool is exceptional. It came out of the box with the blade true to table top and slots for the miter gauge, still is. I check it each spring, with a Woodpecker Table saw gauge, as I begin to work on our remodeling projects. The saw has been kept in an unheated, uninsulated out building throughout the years. Has been covered with a tarp during some extreme mountain thunder storms, has worked flawlessly. The wheeled base makes moving and setting up simple and effortless. I no longer need too fold it or collapse to store it for the winter. But that feature is a great asset. Before purchasing the Bosch I checked it against all the professional grade portable saws. It was then, and still is, the hands down must have tool. Mike Kuck Bolton Landing NY

I’ve owned my 4100 with popup stand for several years. I only had it just in case I needed such a saw; I had hung up woodworking for awhile. Recently I started back into a number of woodworking projects. While this is not a “cabinet saw” by any means, it sure has done the job when combined with an after market fence and some other aftermarket accessories. For those who want to do some hobby woodworking and don’t have the space for a full size table saw, this is likely the best saw you can get for the money! Plenty powerful; more accurate than you would expect; quality of workmanship is quite good!

I had a table saw for 30 years and it worked fine until lately the pulley kept falling off. I got tired fixing it so I went shopping for a new one and after reading many reviews, I decided on getting the Bosch and I’m glad I did my homework. This is an excellent saw that will last another 30 years (although I probably won’t…lol). It makes very accurate cuts and had lots of power. I ran 5/8 in OSB through it as fast and I wanted to push and it didn’t even slow down!! My old one would have been choking at half the speed. I also love that all the accessories, blades, push stick etc. has a place to be stored right on the saw so they are always handy when needed. Also the stand is very easy to use once you get used to it. I highly recommend this saw. The only thing I didn’t like is that a bit of dust escapes even though I had it connected to my shop vac.

I bought this saw about a year ago to build a total of 47 kitchen cabinet doors and panels. It is the most accurate and easy to set up tool in my collection and its stand is an engineering marvel. I pull it out of my workshop to do my sawing on my carport, and setting it up is extremely quick and easy, When I’m finished it’s just as easy to store. The soft start feature of the motor is easy on my electrical circuits and the variable power/constant speed feature of the motor noticeably improves the evenness and quality of cuts. Once adjusted, the fence sets up parallel to the blade every time and the width rulers are accurate and reliable. I also enjoy the extendable table that allows for wider rips and for panel cuts up to 25 inches. Since all of the saw’s accessories store neatly on the chassis there is no need to root around to find where you stored the rip fence, guards, or crosscut slide. There is even a push stick that’s stored near the power cord. Like I said, this is a great and versatile tool.

I bought this saw as my primary workshop table saw. The portable stand gives me the flexibility to move it around as the needs of my small space dictate. The added side extension arm gives me plenty of support as well.

I have had this for about 3 years now. While the supplied blade works okay for construction, I work mostly with hardwoods, and highly prefer a very clean cut. I have purchased a blade specifically for that purpose.I use a dust collector, which marries up nicely with the dust collection port on the saw. Most of the fines will exit that port, even without the dust collector turned on.For dust collection, this saw would benefit from a top side dust collection hood, to catch the dust generated in that area. The vertical storage capability sold me on the unit at the store, but I have not used it in practice.

Great saw with good features, but having trouble with the blade being able to raise and lower

Pros: Amazed at the accuracy of the rip fence. Once dialed in, this is the first compact table saw that I have truly trusted to set the rip width by the rip fence ruler. Right side table extension is very good, rip fence retains accuracy with it deployed. I bought the optional left side extension and it is useful. Easy to remove/attach blade guard assembly and anti-kickback mechanism. Very stable, unlike many contractor-type compact table saws, once aligned this saw retains its alignment despite being moved up/down & around. Nice that everything has a placeholder on the sides/rear of the saw so that I don’t misplace them. The stand is fantastic, easy to deploy, and the folded saw + stand fits nicely against my garage wall and doesn’t stick out very far, no problem parking a car next to it. Swapped out the OEM blade for a Freund finish blade and I now have a great saw for homeowner-hobbyist woodworking. This Bosch replaced an excellent vintage, but aged Ryobi BT3000.Cons: Mediocre OEM blade, OK for construction use but not woodworking. Miter cross-cut gauge fits too loose in miter slot, unacceptable for serious work (built my own cross-cut sled to replace it). Dust removal is not as effective as BT3000, even with dust removal connected to rear dust port, a lot of dust blows through the front panel arbor tilt slot, and a ton falls out when folding up the base, keep a shop-vac handy! Last, assembly instructions for the stand are not up to the quality of the saw, the L & R stand assemblies were supposed to be labeled according to the assembly instructions, they weren’t & it’s easy to make a mistake.Overall, highly recommended for a DIY amateur woodworker. This is a fine tool.

I’ve owned this saw for over 5 years. In that time it has been a reliable, powerful assistant. After 5 years, I had to replace the capacitor {?} and the spring loaded magnets but I can’t remember what those are called right now. That was an normal maintenance and an easy process. I recommend this saw.

Bosch is a step above…this table saw is one of my favorite power tools and makes every project easier.

This saw was “Dead On” accurate. I made an entertainment center with it. Plenty of power. Crosscut and Ripped Pine, Oak, and Plywood with no problem. The only thing is that the blade angle could use a screw adjustment for more accuracy with angles. I needed to cut a 5.7 degree rabbet in oak for a truck bed plank.

This saw has been great, does just about everything I need it to. Nice to to be able to fold it up as my work space is limited.

This is a great saw. Of course a larger table is beneficial but when you want it to moveable you need to make sacrifices. You will be quite happy with saw!
