Totally awesome portable table saw. It’s a heavy duty work horse, but at the same time light weight. It has all the safety features, and very stable. The settings are completely accurate and there is no movement when cutting The Gravity rise is a great feature allowing you to set it up and down for putting away with very little effort. Was used over the past weekend for cutting laminate flooring and worked like a dream. Highly recommend.

I have not had time to fully understand all if the features of this Bosch Table Saw, but I will in the near future. One thing I did notice is the factory did not set the blade at 90 degrees. I’ll have to figure out where the screw is what allows this.

I bought this saw about 2 months ago, I decided to go with Bosch since I have owned other Bosch products in the past. As with my previous experience I am very happy with the performance and quality of Bosch products. The Gravity Rise stand is a must for this saw and I plan to buy the Bosch mitre saw with its matching Gravity Rise stand.

I bought the Bosch table saw because of its features and quality. I use the saw in my basement; I wheel it around as needed, and fold it for storage as necessary. The rolling/folding base provides for easy setup and storage.I look for quality and stability in my tools. I have found the fence to be very accurate and sturdy when I clamp it down to the table. I had to make some minor adjustments to the scale indicator, but otherwise, the fence holds its squareness (?) to the blade.I especially like the soft start. I had a much cheaper table saw from 10 years ago that did not have the soft start. Starting that saw shook the table, almost knocking the wood off. It started with a sudden jolt. The Bosch is nice and smooth starting, as well as it having a brake, slowing the blade very quickly.I purchased the rear and side extensions. They are very well designed and easily operated. The operation of the extensions is very smooth. Dust collection is a minor problem. I have a shop vac hooked up the the dust port. Most of the dust is vacuumed up, but I tend to get some saw dust below, and in front of the machine.Overall, the Bosch table saw is an excellent machine. It folds and rolls easily, I’d be able to use it in my basement, or easily bring it outside as needed. I recommend the saw very highly.

Have just had 2nd one I purchased stop. They seem to last about 2 1/2 years.First one I rebuilt motor after 2 years, lasted 3 months more and shat itself again.Bought 2nd one, it lasted about 2-2 1/2 years and low and behold shat itself. So now have to look at another to finish job I am working on.Other than that is a good little tool. With a few adjustments as per manual is accurate and nice to use. I am a master shipwright/boat builder and have been on the tools for 40 years when I’m not sailing. So if you are looking at this tool it is nice and I hope you don’t have the same problem.

I was given this saw as a gift and have been extremely impressed by the level of detailed engineering put into the tool. It has performed flawlessly and so far I haven’t found something it can’t do.

I just bought this saw yesterday. You may say ‘how can he write a review already?’ I’ve been using this exact table saw at work for the past 6+ years. Of all the table saws I’ve used over the years, this one is absolutely the best. Yes, it’s expensive, but it’s worth every penny. I can’t wait to start my new deck (one of the reasons I bought this saw), and begin using this at home. Kid in a candy store 🙂

The saw is fine, cuts well, accurate, but sluggish on startup, somethings binding. It’s my 2nd Bosch saw, the first was a 4000 model, about 16 yrs old, (guessing). The old saw died so I bought this but they force you into a new gravity rise stand which is nowhere near as good as my old one. Pneumatic tires for one reason are replaced with hard rubber tires that develop flat spots, probably cheaper to make. I wanted to buy just the naked saw but no dice, the stand is part of the deal. I may return the whole package on general principles and that nasty bind on startup.

Stand was easy to assemble and the saw is powerful and easy to operate. I had help bringing the saw into my shop as it is heavy as delivered. After I put the stand together, I turned the saw on it’s side on the floor and attached the stand to it in that orientation. I then was able to lift into operating position the stand/saw combination without too much effort. I have also purchased the side and back table extensions…they also were easy to attach and work flawlessly.
