They drill right on center but with one problem, the sleeves stick you pull the drill back instead of springing back like they should.

I will never try to hang a bracket, hinge or anything else that requires centering of a screw hole of anchor. This is a must have. Makes perfectly placed and aligned installations of your items. This is a must have in your toolbox. You will be surprised how many times you will bew grabbing this tool.

What this thing does is to permit you to drill holes and place screws exactly in the middle of the holes in hinges and other plate type fixtures for building cabinets, furniture or gates. I used it on cabinets and have never had a better outcome. The tool allowed me to get consistently precise placement of screws to hand cabinet doors very straight and proper.

These bits work well to keep you centered while installing door hinges. They load up with wood shavings, though, and require cleaning out from time to time. I just tapped them on the bench or blew through them to keep them clear. Bits are sharp and cut well. A must for positioning door hinges. Three sizes cover a variety of hinge sizes for any project.
