Bosch CM10GD 10 In. Dual-Bevel Glide miter saw delivers accuracy and cutting control at all angles, as well as durable precision throughout the life of the tool. The innovative Axial-Glide System provides wider cross-cuts, enhanced alignment and smoother glide, and the compact design takes up to 10 In. less front-to-back workspace than a slide miter saw. With a 15 Amp motor providing 4,800 no-load RPM, there is plenty of power. Adjustable miter and bevel detents enable users to make precise common miter and bevel cuts, and the override allows for easy angle adjustment. The bevel lock lever and range selector are located safely upfront so users don’t have to reach around behind the saw to make a bevel adjustment.
- Expanded cutting capacity: 12 in. horizontal capacity (nominal); 5-1/2 in. vertical capacity against the fence (base); 6 in. crown capacity against the fence (45° spring)
- Upfront bevel controls all-metal bevel lock lever and range selector located upfront for quick and easy bevel settings without reaching behind the saw
- Chop/crown lock: locks head in place for maximum chop cutting capacity for upright base molding and nested crown molding

Bought this saw two weeks ago along with T4B Base .The base is great easy to assemble , study and easily collapses for mobility or storage. Now for the saw, came out of the box way out of calibration in every way. Would like to see a micro adjustment on the miter. Took some time to true up every thing to my liking. Now that the saw is calibrated it works great. Glide is silky smooth with no deflection or play unless you pull or push real hard. Dust collection and blade are decent. The things I don’t like are the plastic miter rail and detent handle already showing signs of ware, and the bevel lock won’t release completely when working with wide stock. I might be able to flip it 180 if every thing works. I’ll see how good Bosch replacement warranty is for the plastic. Hope there durable in the cold. Over all real impressed with the saw accuracy true clean cuts. I also installed the laser guide the other day really like it but might be worthless in direct sunlight. Time and use will be the true test.

Have had saw for about three weeks. Cuts like butter; however, when cutting 1×6 and wider pine boards, the blade leaves a “tooth” mark on the end grain about 5 inches from the fence. The mark is curved and about the width of a saw tooth. Have tried another blade, with same result. Problem is very noticeable on pine, less so on hardwoods.

This saw is great in almost every way, but fails in one very important one – the head of the saw moves from side to side with very little pressure (even when all adjustments are “locked”), so cuts frequently aren’t “clean” and look like they have been cut multiple times. My old Hitachi miter saw never had this problem. I love this saw otherwise and am disappointed that such a fundamental feature of a miter saw (straight/clean cuts) was not a priority in this design.

The 10″ Bosch is perfect. We are refinishing a deck and the saw went through 2 x 8 with no problem. I could cut 45degrees 2 x 6 if I flipped the wood.

I have purchased two of these in the past 3 years and have had very good experiences. the glide arm is smooth and the cuts are precise. Occasionally an adjustment is necessary as with all tools but that is also a painless experience.

I am very impressed with this saw. The blade glides almost effortlessly, the mechanics if the design are intuitive and effective, and the trim I have been cutting are perfect. This replaced an older saw and the difference in operation is night and day. The only minor complaint I would have is with the dust collection. The blade shoots dust everywhere and the collection shute only picks up a small portion. I knew from YouTube videos that this was an issue and will be fabricating a shute extender to try to capture more of the dust. I would still not hesitate to buy this saw again!

So far soo good. I have just received this saw and have already used it on a couple of different projects and I a very happy with the results so far. It fits on my bench and allows it to be tucked away completely when not in use. I like the left and right handed trigger operation. When you compare the level of manufacturing, precision and finish on this to other brands you quickly realize that Bosch spent more time and money on this saws production. Cuts great at every angle and the arms as smooth as butter when cutting.

I bought this a couple months ago and right out of the box, the saw was dead on accurate, no adjustments needed. To date, I have used it to make a miter saw station for it, as well as to make several general crosscuts. I like that all the controls are up front and readily accessible. As to operating the saw, it is smooth as silk and a real pleasure to use. Will I use it every day, no. Will I use it on every project, I almost certainly will. Well worth the money!

Great saw and almost completely fined tuned out of the box. Great instructions need to get more time in front of it.

Was setup perfectly out of the box. No adjustments needed. Super smooth glide system. A light for a shadow line would be the only thing I would wish the saw had. I have a 150 CFM shop vac hooked up to it and the dust collection is pretty good.

Unbelievable saw. I am so excited about using this product. 5 stars without qualifications.

The axial slide is truly ingenious . This design saves space on the back side of the saw and provides crisp slide action. Great engineering and design. I would prefer the Kerf inserts to tighten closer to the blade for better “rip out” prevention. YouTube has a great video for homemade retrofit Kerf insert. Prefer the 10″ over the 12″ purely because I have a large collection of 10″ blades.

I was looking for a good saw and saved some space with “arm” instead of a “slide”.

I’ve had this saw for about six months now and have used it for a variety of projects and materials. It has been perfect for my small shop, giving me a ton of capacity and accuracy without taking up all the space I have available. The dust collection isn’t the best, and it took a while to get the accuracy dialed in, but, other than that, it is a solid saw that I absolutely love.

Best yet. By far.

Hands down one of the nicest miter saws I have ever used. The gliding arm is really nice and because of the zero clearance design, you can literally push the saw tight against a wall and still cut! This is a big perk if it you are stuck in small work area. It may seem like a small thing, but it is also worth mentioning that the saw blade that came with this miter saw is VERY good, much better then what is typically included with new purchase saws. This is a new favorite for me and will make me consider Bosch for any tool purchase in the future!

Saw good, homedepot bad… 6 weeks to get saw. Called 7 times, waited 3 or more hours each time over a 4 week period. Said they will get back to me within 48 hours… Never once called back…. 5th week canceled credit card so they could not charge me. Then they shipped saw… 2 days after shipping they called 2 to 3 times a day leaving meaasges about not being able to charge the card.. I waited 2 weeks before calling them back….. Funny how they don’t have time to call when it involves them on the short end….. Will never shop there again.

The dust boot breaks easily plus the dust collection is virtually non existent. I have it hooked up to my centrifuge dust collector and it still throws waste/dust all over.
