Bosch CM10GD 10 In. Dual-Bevel Glide miter saw delivers accuracy and cutting control at all angles, as well as durable precision throughout the life of the tool. The innovative Axial-Glide System provides wider cross-cuts, enhanced alignment and smoother glide, and the compact design takes up to 10 In. less front-to-back workspace than a slide miter saw. With a 15 Amp motor providing 4,800 no-load RPM, there is plenty of power. Adjustable miter and bevel detents enable users to make precise common miter and bevel cuts, and the override allows for easy angle adjustment. The bevel lock lever and range selector are located safely upfront so users don’t have to reach around behind the saw to make a bevel adjustment. The Bosch T1B Folding-Leg Miter Saw Stand features Universal Quick-Action Tool Mounts, to fit most miter saws on the market. This includes fitting Bosch 12 In., 10 In. and 8-1/2 In. single- and dual-bevel miter saws, as well as many competitor miter saws. Once attached to the saw mounts, users can attach and remove the miter saw from the stand without tools. The stand has smooth end rollers that are adjustable in height to match the height of the user’s miter saw. It features integrated repetitive stops. The dual sliding rails extend out to a total of 8-1/2 feet to support material up to 16-1/2 feet wide.
- CM10GD: expanded cutting capacity: 12 in. horizontal capacity (nominal); 5-1/2 in. vertical capacity against the fence (base); 6 in. crown capacity against the fence (45 spring)
- CM10GD: upfront bevel controls all-metal bevel lock lever and range selector located upfront for quick and easy bevel settings without reaching behind the saw
- CM10GD: chop/crown lock: locks head in place for maximum chop cutting capacity for upright base molding and nested crown molding

Happy I went with this over a conventional sliding miter saw , the space savings and look of the saw are great in my small shop.Wouldn’t recommend it as a job site saw, the dewalt seems more bullet proof , but it(the dewalt) takes up too much room when mounted at home, and not as ergonomic( or fun to use ) as the Bosch .

The 10″ Bosch is perfect. We are refinishing a deck and the saw went through 2 x 8 with no problem. I could cut 45degrees 2 x 6 if I flipped the wood.

Great saw

So far soo good. I have just received this saw and have already used it on a couple of different projects and I a very happy with the results so far. It fits on my bench and allows it to be tucked away completely when not in use. I like the left and right handed trigger operation. When you compare the level of manufacturing, precision and finish on this to other brands you quickly realize that Bosch spent more time and money on this saws production. Cuts great at every angle and the arms as smooth as butter when cutting.

Thus far very happy with this saw, lives up to its advertising. Smooth action, easy adjustments. Have it mounted on a Ryobi miter saw stand, works well.

I have been chasing one of these saws for a while starting with a display I saw at a local store several years ago, it was a twelve inch model. A radical change from the norm of various incarnations of the tube rail slide is what caught my eye. I don’t like twelve inch saws for reasons I won’t bore you with here, and so I waited and bided my time, and sure enough they came up with a ten inch version. Considerably more RPM at the blade and overall rigidity is pretty good on the ten inch model. For a space saving stationary shop saw that won’t be getting thrown in the truck much, this is the saw to buy. Four star rating is for the fiddly adjustments out of the box that are required to get all the detents stopping true, and the cumulative flex in the various sections of the glide mechanism that add up to about a half degree either way. It is a Chinese built saw after all, no sense deluding ourselves about that. Be forewarned it is a heavy pig, and only a pound lighter than it’s bigger cousin.

this saw is very nice works as it should

This saw is great in almost every way, but fails in one very important one – the head of the saw moves from side to side with very little pressure (even when all adjustments are “locked”), so cuts frequently aren’t “clean” and look like they have been cut multiple times. My old Hitachi miter saw never had this problem. I love this saw otherwise and am disappointed that such a fundamental feature of a miter saw (straight/clean cuts) was not a priority in this design.

If it had a laser it would have been perfect

easy to used and cut very well. I would like if it build in with laser guide

I love this miter saw. Works great. Only thing I would have wanted built into it would be the laser guide.

It came perfect aligned straight out of the box. My only minor annoyance is that the dust hood doesn’t do a fantastic job collecting. I have fitted it with the hack I have seen and that works but it is a common problem mentioned by loads of users so it seems Bosch would enlarge the dust chute. Just saying….

This saw is by far 1 million times better than my old 15 year old miter saw! I like the axial slide, it really saves a lot of room. I like how easy it slides and how easy it is to use every time I need to use it. This saw needs to be sold in stores as it is far superior to most 12 inch saws out there. Speaking of 12″ saws, the average diy person will find this saw has the capacity to do almost every thing you need. (Unless u are regularly cutting 6×6) This saw stays true and straight every time and was on point out of the box. There are 2 things that need improvement, one is the blade guard has some trouble moving over the wood at a sharp angle, and this saw creates a lot of dust. (Have not tried with a vacuum yet). Also I took the advice of a lot of other reviews and got the Bosch Gravity Rise stand and I will say that it was the best stand money could buy. The saw is heavier than most but it makes it a god send to move and set up.

Superb design. Fits many brands of miter saws including my Hitachi 12” C12FDH. Clear assembly instructions. Bosch quality. Folding legs for easy storage. Strong packaging.

Solid stand, a little heavy to be portable, more of a stay at home piece.

The saw was almost dead accurate out of the box and was very easy to adjust in every way. My major complaint is that there is a lot of side to side play caused by the cutting action. You have to be very careful when you make a cut to push straight down or the cut will skew as much as 3/16″. Not a plus for jobsite use when hundreds of cuts are made every day.
