Bosch bits are top-of-the-line. I don’t want to waste my time with a lower quality bits. A few years ago I started buying only Bosch bits because they live up to their guarantee.

This is a nice set for extensive use in drilling thick metal. It has a 1/2″ bit which is not always included in other sets. Cobalt is more heat resistant but if you are doing heavy duty drilling with a lot of pressure in a drill press, get some lubricant and watch a youtube video so you don’t overheat the bits. This is on the higher priced end.

Tried using multiple different drill bits to drill through Diablo reciprocating saw blades. None of them worked. These are the only thing one that was able to drill a new hole so that I could reuse the blades.
