Having used this model circular saw on a number of job sites, I purchased this saw to replace my 50 year old Skil Saw. The third time I went to use it I needed to change the cut depth and the lever came apart and parts disappeared. Not happy as I expected much from Bosch.

Just finished my deck I can say that the CS10 is a well made saw with great features, It made all the angle cut with ease and would power through a 2 x 12 plank of treated lumber. With the wrench provided and the spindle lock, blade changes are a fast and easy. Attach your wrench near the electric plug so it handy and you remember unplug your saw when you need to change your blade.

I bought this circular saw 15 days ago, and if I would have known the difference between using a cheao brand and this, I would have never bought so many saws before this one. Truly love it, and highly recommend it

I bought this saw about a year ago but didn’t really get a chance to use it until recently. This thing has a lot of kick. It’s strong and durable and I couldn’t find anything it wouldn’t cut through easily.

My father owns this CS10 saw and I have used it quite a bit. I own the cs5 and I happen to prefer my saw but only for a few minor reasons which are just personal preferences. I prefer everything about the CS10 to my CS5 with just a couple of exceptions. One exception is where the front plate hinge is mounted to a plastic arm which can flex more easily than the all metal hinge on the CS5. Many brands have an arm which is an extension of the plastic body of the saw and motor housing which extends to the front hinge of the plate and can flex and the body and blade of the saw twist in relation to the plate when putting downward weight on the saw while pushing it through a cut. I’ve used many brands of saws which flex worse than this one as well. I have learned to get square cuts with the CS10 simply requires moving the saw through a cut with mostly forward pressure since there is no reason to apply downward pressure unless you’re making a cut with a dull blade and then you deserve an out of square cut.The other exception in which I prefer the cs5 to the cs10 is the left blade design and that is just a personal preference.Over all the CS10 really works well for my father and me. I really like the rafter hook along with the stops for depth and bevel. I also like the baseplate material and design. The sharp squared edges work great with straight edge guides. The controls are very well placed and designed and it is a great tool.

I have owned a few of these saws and love everyone.

Great power, good ergonomics, and love the sky hook.I love the worm drives when it comes to needing serious power for continual ripping…but that’s the exception. For everything else, the smaller saws are much more practical and easier to tote around a roof or wherever! Best saw out there. Hey! Go get Bosch’s new 30A oscillating tool!! It’s the best tool I own! (For real, this isn’t an ad…I’m actually putting a plug in for Bosch. For free. 😉

Replaced an old Porter Cable. Have used it only a few times, not on 2x maple, yet. Power seems comparable. Between this and Makita. Would like a light. Used with a Kreg rip jig, taking a while to set up as an extra 1/4 inch of base in front would have helped. Love the depth adjustment. Overall, adjustments seem well thought out and are durable. I’ll know more by the spring, hope for heavy use.

I bought this saw to replace my older Dewalt mainly because it felt good in my hands compared to others. I like the way it cuts and handles. The only thing I do not like is the depth lock as it does not tighten well enough. Otherwise I would have given it five stars.
