I had this saw given to me by a family member as an upgrade to my existing Ryobi. Sadly, it was has a serious flaw. It has a lot of power, nice ergonomics, and thoughtful features like the hook. However, the connector between the shoe and the saw itself is plastic and it flexes significantly with normal working pressure. You can easily get deflections of 10 degrees or greater without much effort, which I discovered trying to square off the end of a table I was building using a kreg accu-cut. No amount of calibration has allowed me to get this thing to cut square. Great for framing work, but take a pass if you’re attempting any detailed work.

I used this saw at work and found it very easy to use. So when my saw failed I bought this saw and I’m very pleased whit its operation.

Cheap adjustment levers. Does the job, but only lasted a year prior to needing repairs. Warranty is good.

I bought this saw to replace my old one that had a bent shoe and would no longer cut straight. This saw did a nice job ripping a 2×6 with the included blade. I like the feel of this saw over my old one. The Bosch is not the cheapest saw but so far I’m happy with it.

First off, this saw has a rafter hook so it wins.Lightweight & well balanced. Good value. Our framing crew has had 6 of these saws over 2 years. Every one is built out of square from the factory. We turn the stop screw in as far as it goes to get the saws square. This works for square but throwes the bevel stops out by about 3 degrees. Not a big deal when framing but we take pride in our work & like tight joints. I use my Makita everywhere but the roof.An electric brake would be nice but would raise the price. As long as no one else provides a rafter hook this is the saw to buy if you are framing. Wish Bosch would build one that was square.

I bought this saw for my addition framing. Great saw. Haven’t stalled it yet. Only negative thing is the locking handle for depth. Becarefull when pulling out to reposition it will pop off.

Bought the CS10 as a backup a while and haven’t needed to use it until recently & after only 8 or 10 medium to light duty projects the plastic dust cover that sits just behind the blade is failing & it appears they don’t make the parts for this saw any more or I haven’t been able to find anyone with much of anything???

Received it as a Christmas gift. Saw has plenty of power but weight is manageable. And I really like not having the old safety button to deal with.

My first use of the product was to make lengthways saw-cuts between composite decking boards – the original contractor failed to leave expansion gaps between boards as recommended by the manufacturer. Despite the composite material is very hard and dense, the Bosch circular saw cut quickly – about 700′ of cuts in about 3 hours.

The Bosch circular saw is a good, smooth running machine. A particular feature that I really appreciate is the table. It is extra beefy and cast metal with integrated ribbing for strength rather than the typical stamped sheet metal that is prone to bending out of shape. The angle setting goes beyond 45 degrees which on occasion is a lifesaver for unusual cuts.Features that I would change are:1. The location of the spindle lock is right where my index finger rests on some cutting applications. I would prefer it on the top.2. The fold down saw horse hanger is not useful to me. I would probably never use it as it is intended and more than once it has caught on my sleeve requiring an adjustment before cutting can continue.3. The preset angle “stops” on the table are not handy for me and tend to hang me up when adjusting to the angle I want. I would prefer a straight on smooth movement to the angle of my choice.

I used this saw for all my general wood cutting. Just recently built a shed and used this throughout much of the construction process. The tool is light and comfortable with good sight lines for cutting. Very please with the quality of this saw.
