My wife gave me this saw as a Valentines day gift to upgrade from a rather cheap cordless saw. The difference was night and day! This saw is more than capable of handling anything I throw at it, cutting through wood as though it was butter. The depth adjustment is smooth and quick, blade changes are a snap, and it comes with a great blade for my purposes to boot. I also love that the blade is on the left, that makes for a much easier cut every time.

I prefer a left side blade circular saw, because I find it much better to see the cut line, since I’m right handed and this saw fits the bill. I like Bosch products, and have had this circular saw about 3 weeks now and it met all my expectations as to the quality I wanted and power in a Bosch product. I’m not new to circular saws, so I know a quality product. I would have preferred a magnesium base, but that is not a problem. It’s smooth handling and powerful cutting and great line of site lead to a perfect cut . I’ve used it quite a bit in the time I’ve had it, doing a lot of remodeling work and would suggest the use of this product to anyone. If your in the market for an electric circular saw, you won’t be disappointed with this one. I only would have liked better, if it came with a hard sided case, as it comes with no case at all. I do believe you can get a case for it, as an option.

I bought this for an addition I am building. This saw has plenty of power and it’s guide is accurate out of the box. It’s great for cutting rafters which is the main reason I bought it. Sure, the dust port is a bad design but a little gorilla tape fixed that and when i have time I’ll have a real front facing dust port. I would definitely reccomend this saw, especially for pros.

Ive been in the construction industry for over 25 years. Ive always used a worm drive saw. This saw thou is a great tool . The left handed blade gives the line of sight most carpenters are use to. I use this saw for remodels, and in my shop it is my #1 go to. Cuts great. Yet I still use a worm drive for framing. Cant beat the price. Great tool.
