Got this to drill holes is Four Stumps of Trees, I had to remove so I could pour Copper green in to stop regrowth worked good for the first few inches but get stuck at less than four inches,a twist bit works better is these cherry Plum stumps!!

I bought this to drill through a 4×4 and 2×4 to bolt together so I needed the long shank. This bit wants to drill and fast. But it kept jamming in the hole every 2 inch’s. One time I had to use a socket and wrench to even start to back it out. If you want to punch through a 2×4 quick this is it, but not with a long shank. Maybe that’s why it was on clearence.

I needed to drill a ten inch hole in a tree stump. The sizes offered were 4” 6” or 16 “. I took the 16 but it went down maybe 6” deepest. The length made me a bit concerned it might break. I am waiting and will try again to go deeper. The tree was a crepe myrtle so maybe just the wood.

The bit is ideal for drilling into areas where the drill itself won’t fit (i.e. flooring studs from underneath the floor). The unique design with the starter tip dug right in and the aggressive outer spade style bit finished off the job in no time. The bit is well made and should last a long time.
