I am super impressed with how well and aggressively these bits cut! I am 50 years old and have been doing carpentry both as a professional or a diy’r for over 35 years and these are some of the best mid-point price range spade bits I have ever used. I bought them to used on pressure treated 4x4s and 6×6 posts because I didn’t want to ruin my more expensive ones. However, after what feels Like a million holes, when most lower cost bits would’ve been dull, these are just as good as the first use.

As some have mentioned this drill bit can have a tendency to get stuck if youre trying to go slow. If you can maintain a higher steady rpm then it gets the job done. That said, perhaps the the two teeth on the edges need to be sharper.
